I followed the link above, then just sent the $10 to myself. Make sure you pay through Visa Ckout (which has a separate log in). After I paid, I got immediate confirmation of $20 gc for $10. Opened my email with the gc link, added it to my starbucks acct, then transferred those funds to my main Starbucks card.

My Starbucks account got hacked last week and someone had withdrawn the entire amount on my card as well as other gift cards that were in my account. Contacted customer service and hoping to get the lost amount added back. Make sure everyone keep a look on your account and also update your password as a precaution.

So nice I bought it twice. Used 2 diff visa checkout accounts (same debit card)
When I go to apply my gift card it says card was already applied. I’m applying it in the app. My balance still shows zero. Anyone else have this problem? Any idea who I should contact concerning this?
I had this happen too. Just close out the Starbucks app and give it a few minutes. When you open the app again, the amount should be there

I think the instructions are still wrong. You have to purchase the gc by clicking through the link in the 2nd step. It takes you to a different purchase page. Don’t think purchasing a gc through the app will work.
I believe you may be right, unfortunately, there’s no way to reverse. It does say “In the past, our readers received their $10 eGift within 5 days. I received mine immediately after purchasing! Woohoo!” so maybe I will get it separately… Hoping.
It seems the instructions originally posted, were just copied from another deal. in order to get the $10 bonus, you have to go through the link above and purchase the gc (not through the app), otherwise you don’t get the bonus.

You have to purchase the gc through the link at the top of the post. It is a different site that is hosting the gc bonus. NOT visa ckout ithrough the Starbux app.

I made two Visa checkout accounts to purchase one for each of my children. They both received their $20 gift cards in their emails, but it’s giving them a system error when they try to load the gift card to their Starbucks app. Hopefully it is just because of a system overload and not because it won’t work. We’ll see. 🙂

Worked for me flawlessly! Used the link above, selected $10 GC, put my name and email into recipient details, added to cart. Then logged into Visa Checkout following the prompts. When I got to the checkout screen, it showed the $10 bonus as part of the transaction. Minutes later, I got 3 emails saying “Liz bought you a GC” then the email with the GC; clicked on the link in that one and selected “send to app”. It automatically opened my app and added the GC. Then I selected something like “merge giftcards” and merged my new $20 GC with my current GC (I didn’t feel like having multiple in my app).
