Maybe I should buy this and put by my street. My other mailbox was blown up last night. They put a bomb in it. Woke my family up. My 9 year old was so scared. We did not figure out what happened until this morning. A month ago they went around with paint ball guns and dented all the mailboxes and last year someone hit them all with a baseball bat. Awful I hope the idiots get caught. I wish I had an attack mailbox. Watch it beat up their car, now that would be funny. Maybe it could drop spike strips and give them flat tires. We had no mail in our box on Thursday and on Friday a big envelope came from the post office with opened mail someone had found in the ditch miles away! Exhausting isn’t it?
Someone used cement and a big metal bar as their post for their mailbox in my town. Flipped the car. The people were ok.

That’s awful! Maybe you should look into getting a motion detecting night vision camera or something similar. Also, does your neighborhood participate in the “nextdoor” app. It’s a national thing and I see a lot of people in nearby neighborhoods communicate about issues like this and will even post pictures and videos that they capture from their surveillance cameras. BTW, It’s free.
