Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal? Hoping to get my son started with a bunch of legos for Christmas this year. Hoping to get the best deals!
    TIA

Shopgoodwill.com will often have boxes of legos and duplos that they auction off by the pound (with pictures of the pile to give you an idea of what sort is included). They are used, but by far the best value I’ve seen. I bought a 17 pound box of duplo for $35 ($50 with shipping). It included a big pink castle, a cafe, a daycare, a family house, a hospital, and a bunch of big plates and mini figs. The castle alone was about $80 retail before it was discontinued. Clearly, ymmv, but the money all goes to charity so win, win.

personally for just basic legos, I got my four year old “brickyard building bricks” that are just the same as Legos. they cost $29.99 on Amazon for 1100 pieces. then we got him several of the Lego City sets. you literally cannot tell a difference between the two.

So you can use the two sets together?

😀 My 6 yo daughter LOVES LEGOs right now. and I like that this is a plastic block/box. She doesn’t seem to like the cardboard boxes and wants to just throw them away. But that doesn’t help for keeping them put away! lol
