The L’Oreal deal does exclude cleansers, but the towelettes are listed in the ad as a qualifying product so they should work. I am assuming that the towelettes are not considered a cleanser since they are wipes?? HTH 🙂

I live in Houston, Texas and here the CVS stores that I use are all denying the use of multiple coupons for any given product in the same transaction. In other words, if I buy 4 same brand shampoos using 4 coupons I have to do 4 separate transactions. Three different CVS stores have all told me the policy has changed and they no longer accept more than one coupon per product per transactions. Any one else having this problem?
Last week, I had to do separate transactions for the Kotex deal and of course I had a ecb to use, so I had to go grab a gallon of milk so it didn’t get wasted. Makes me not want to even go there anymore.
Also, a lot of coupons are beeping at Target when they are exactly a match! Holds up the line when it is correct!
I just moved to the Houston area and both the stores close to me are crazy strict about coupons! They limit you to 4 coupons per customer and inspect every single one like they think it’s fraudulent. And of course they won’t take expired ECB. Sooo different than the stores where I used to live. I used to go every week, and now I hardly ever bother. 🙁

There is a typo on the Loreal Facial Care deal. Total price is $14.58. But after 2 $3/1 you stated $11.58. That only took into account one of the Qs, the real price is $9.58. So with $10EB back this is a money maker. I did this today, had extra $4Q from CVS app. My wife was happy.

Just food for thought…
Registers don’t read the coupon wording/exclusions, all they do is match the product UPC to the coupon databar info. A brand will usually have the same ‘family’ code across all their products. So even if a coupon excludes something such as cleansers, the coupon will still more than likely scan through. Which doesn’t make it OK. And then you have to consider inventory. If the store has submitted 20 coupons for $3 off L’oreal Skincare Product (excludes cleansers), but only 8 moisturizes were sold, that means the store doesn’t get reimbursed for those 12 coupons incorrectly used on cleansers ($36 + handling fee). Multiply that across the thousands of stores and that’s a lot money CVS loses. And then the store has to raise prices to compensate, the cashiers start scrutinizing everything and we all complain about it.

There was a $1 off (2) peele coupon on the hershey’s bag when I got to CVS. I was able to add a $2 off grocery coupon to my card from the CVS app EXP 8/21 (tomorrow). Those along with the printed $3 CVS coupon made my final purchase of 2 bags only $1.
