We make pizza on a regular grill and it works great. Just cook one side of the dough, flip and then put on all your toppings and turn grill down! So much fun. You will have to get a pizza spatula but that is all.
Then I put it in a pizza stone and keep warm in the oven if I need to make another one right away and we are not ready to eat.
