    This is really cool.

This brings tears to my eyes. This is such a beautiful thing people are doing for those in need. Anyone in Dallas know where and how I can volunteer to help?

Our city is training people that want to go and help. Not sure if that is what you meant but possibly call your city? Just a thought. Be careful about sending money! The scammers are hard at work 🙁 The Redcross will have resources online too.

Wow that is great! I’m not in a position where I can go directly to Houston to help but I can volunteer at a shelter or something like that here in Dallas I will call the city information line and see if I can get information there. Thank you!

You have a good heart 🙂 God bless you <3

Amanda call the Red Cross…they have set up multiple shelters and they are already filling up!! They need volunteers to help with check ins, helping the families get things they need while there i.e. Food, clothing, toiletries and assist in locating more long term places to stay. They will let you know which locations so you can go to one nearest to you
Thank you for volunteering….there can never be enough help!!

You can volunteer at the donation sites and probably even the shelters. I donated almost $200 in non-perishables, water, diapers and formula yesterday to Lakepoint Church in Rockwall then my husband and I stayed and helped pack the truck and items into boxes for 4 hours. We are not members of the church just the closest location I could find to Garland that was sending items straight South. They have loaded a semi full every day, getting a new one each morning and will do so through Friday. They haven’t updated their list of items needed but cleaning supplies and tools are the most needed items the Pastor says. If you’ve shopped this week you may have noticed all the water and diapers in DFW are pretty much sold out. It’s inspiring seeing our community come together. PSA anyone in DFW fill up gas now!!!! Many stations are out of gas and QT expects half of their north Texas locations to be out of gas this weekend. I’m sure they are not the only ones we have 5 oil refineries down.

They help clear out damaged walls and clean up flood damage inside homes. Just wanted to be clear, I have never heard of cleaning supplies and tools needed, until now so wanted to explain.

Thank you Air BnB and thank you, America! God bless you all for helping all of SE Texas. There’s many small towns like Refugio and Rockport that lost it all as well. Thank you for all that y’all are doing for us. -From a Houstonian

As well as Beaumont where they say 50+ inches of rain in such a short period
