What some suggestions to use this for? Besides the obvious rice, beans etc
I have only had mine for a few months and love it. I’ve made roast, smothered steak, black bean soup and a couple of other things…all have been awesome. The meat turns out like you’ve cooked it in the crock pot but it is so much faster. There is a Facebook group that’s all about instant pot recipes and you can also find a lot on Pinterest.

You can make pretty much anything you would make on the stove, crockpot, or rice cooker with it. You also can easily make yogurt with it as well. I have two of them and cook in them 4-5 nights a week. I’ve used my stove maybe 3 times since May when I purchased my first instant pot.

We are a family of 5, started out with the 6 qt, found it to be too small and recently upgraded to an 8 quart. I love the larger size!
