I regularly buy meat from there on clearance. The beef in the tubes (I buy the 90-93% lean) has been a little tough at times. However, my family has still eaten it fine, especially if it’s something like spaghetti sauce or chili. Other meat from there has been just fine, in my opinion–equal to grocery store. Starting price at Target is usually pretty high, so I always calculate out price/lb, including markdowns and Cartwheel to see if it’s a good buy. I’ve gotten some amazing stock-the-freezer meat deals there. Just make sure it meets your price point.
We buy meat frequently from Target, I’m never had a problem. Don’t forget we also have the $5 gc with $20 purchases. Makes for a GREAT deal on meat!
Hi CG! My family likes the meat in the packs like we have in the photo above and it always tastes great! We aren’t really fans of the meat that is in the tube (or sticks I guess some call it), it just tastes different for some reason.
I got the $5 gc with $20 meat purchase, it was awesome considering I buy it anyway plus 20% is a great deal also. They have great meat iny opinion especially steaks 2 for $9 or $10

Every time I go to Target I check for markdown meat, they have GREAT prices when they clearance the ground beef, its one of my favorite brands too 🙂
