Could someone tell me if this is a good deal? Better deals on black Friday?

I personally wouldn’t waste my money. I got it last year when Colin listed it for less than $200 and had to give it away less than a year later due to it not being able to hold weight very well. I have a 1.5 year old and a 3.5 year old and if I say both of them at the same time to swing the wood would creak and the entire playset would move.

It absolutely has to be resealed and anchored in concrete

I bought this last year from Walmart for $150. I guess you get what you pay for. We put it up around the end of April and did 2-3 sealing coats on it. It already is spotted on some pieces! We also got a different brand cedar playhouse and did the same sealing process and it looks new. So ymmv, but it’s a little disappointing.

Darn! Thanks for sharing your experience Heather!

It isn’t the highest quality, but I’ve had mine for 2 years now and it has held up very well. I have a very narrow yard and this was the only option that fit. My 70 pound 8 year old plays on it 1-2 times a week and it is still like new. I did have the crossbar shortened due to space issues, and if 2 kids are swinging hard on it, it will move, but otherwise it doesn’t. I ended up using 1 swing, and then bought a Little Tikes plastic tire swing to install on the other hooks. Happy with my purchase, and there was nothing else under $1,000 that would have fit my tight yard space.

Thanks for the feedback Suzanne! Happy to hear how well it has held up for you!

Idk about this exact one, but this past cyber Monday I purchased a cedar one from toysrus that was $499, down from $799. I think it’s a tad bigger than this, with 2 slides on the side and a play house with door at bottom.

I also purchased this from toys r us on black Friday but the one that has 2 levels and 2 slides. Black Friday we paid 700 for a 2000 playset. I love the supreme model of this brand that we purchased. Its very heavy duty and has alot of room on the 2 levels. The wood is great quality too. Black Friday had a great deal last year.

We have had ours for three years and it worked out good. You need to use the stakes to tie it down. We learned the hard way and it blew over in North Dakota’s 50+ mile hour wind gust and broke a few boards. They have good customer service and shipped us new boards for a really cheap price. It also must be tied down in order to keep it from moving when older kids swing. I would defiantly say it’s for the 9& under age range. It is very light weight. Our kids were 3,2&1yrs old when we got it. I purchased a babyswing to put where the monkey bars are. We also have had another child since we got it and all four love it. We have made two 1,000mile moves with it we break it down slightly in order to fit it in the moving truck. I will say it’s not heaven duty like swing sets were when I was young but it has been very nice for us.
