I bought this blender about a year ago as a gift to my mom and every time I use it, I’m not particularly impressed for it being a Kitchenaid product. It’s heavy and it looks nice, but as for actual blending, it doesn’t compare to my Blendtec, or my friends’ Vitamix. But for the price, it’s a decent alternative to cheaper brand blenders.

I wish I had waited… Just bought this one from Amazon to replace a 5 year old KitchenAid. My 5 year old blender was still working, but the replacement pitcher was too expensive. I am very hard on blenders, and was happy with the old one. Happy with this one so far. I think this is a good mid-priced blender. Assuming that it lasts as long as the old one, it was worth it. I do all kinds of Trim Healthy Mama stuff with blenders, and my kids blend things a lot as well. 🙂
