I started as a seasonal hire in 2009, and I’ve been there part-time ever since! Granted, that isn’t the case for ALL seasonal hires. Be prepared to be on your feet for long shifts. No sneakers allowed, so invest in some Danskos or similar shoes. *I* think it’s a lot of fun ๐Ÿ™‚

How neat! Thanks for sharing your experience Allison!

You do have to be 18 and have a high school diploma or GED – just FYI

OT- does old navy not have store pick up? Ship to store?

    • Chelsey

No they don’t but I think you can buy a cheap item from Gap and use code FREE4FALL and get free shipping on your whole order.

        Cool thanks chelsea!

I applied for a job at B&BW back in my high school/college days. They were willing to hire me but I didn’t proceed because they would only offer 3 hr shifts. Sometimes you could get consecutive 3 hour shifts but with a break in between. For me, it wasn’t worth it. This was about 15 years ago so they may have changed since then or it could have even have been a policy specific to that location.

If I remember right, they do a lot of call-out shifts. Where you are “scheduled” to work but have to call in before your shift to see if you are needed. That was several years ago so I’m not sure if they still do that. FYI, I started as seasonal and stayed on part time afterward. It was a nice extra income in college. Plus the 30% discount was a nice perk ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am pretty sure if you work at Bath and Body Works you get discounts at other LBrands stores. I used to be a temp worker at corporate and I heard workers get up to 40% off of Bath and Body and Victoria’s Secret/Pink. I don’t think they received that kind of discount on Henri Bendel though… the discount also can be used on gift cards (!!) but not combined with other offers.

Also, off topic though, you can use your Victoria’s Secret credit card at Bath and Body Works; however, you don’t get angel points.

When I worked there the discount could not be used on gift cards because then you had the possibility of people trying to double dip.

The employee discount cannot be applied to sale items.

I worked there for 5 years after starting as seasonal as well. I LOVED it and would still work there part-time if I didn’t work 50+ hours a week at my primary job and have a toddler at home. They are a great company to work for.
