Starbucks just released the new Maple Pecan Latte. This fun and new drink contains rich espresso and steamed milk with notes of maple syrup, pecan and brown butter finished with a sugar topping! YUM!

I didn’t like it. I really didn’t get any pecan flavor and just a hint of maple. I was hoping for a pecan pie taste. Gave it to my son to finish. 🙁

Same here! I let a friend know I tried it and only tasted the maple and pecan in the first sip but not after. I thought maybe it was just me.

I tried it and I’m not sure it was made correctly. It wasn’t sweet at all and not enough pecan flavor. I’ll try again at another Starbucks.

the circles are not blank, they are fall themed with leaves. I think they’re cute!
I love them! The fall theme. I mean though, it’s a cup. I don’t pay for the cup, I pay for the drink. 🙂

I had a venti with an extra shot it was amazing. Definitely gonna compete with psl for me!
I tried one on Friday and wasn’t impressed. Not much taste at all. So much so that I wondered if they made it wrong.
DD maple pecan is DELISH but very sweet. I have to customize it and ask for less pumps. I prefer both the Starbucks and DD maple pecan to Pumpkin which tastes very artificial.
Pretty sure you can ask for a refund if you don’t like it.

DD had it first. SB is a copy cat & I think their sales are down!
🙄 You think wrong. 😂 Starbucks is way more successful. I’ve actually seen DD employees in Starbucks taking notes on the menu and pricing before.
Maybe the DD employees were industrial spies! LOL. I meant DD released the flavor first this season then SB. Not sure who makes more money but DD is more accessible. SB just expanded in my area & DD too…I wish I could try other chains mentioned in Collin blog such as Peetes Coffee & Tea.
I thought it was gross. I had a friend that tried it as well we were both very disappointed.
Guess I’m in the minority but I had one as a frapp today and LUHVED it. A little on the sweet side but I prefer the subtle maple pecan to the in your face pumpkin spice.
Is it sickeningly sweet? I’d like to know before ordering. I like the salted caramel, but I get it half sweet because nearly all of Starbucks’ mixed drinks are way too sweet! Was wondering if I will have to ask them to cut back on sweetness with this maple pecan.
I didn’t care for it either. The Maple Sleigh K-Cup by Brooklyn Beans was much more pancake like to me.
