Did the price of a regular movie, not blu ray go up to $2.00?

I called redbox and here’s what they said:
Sandy Meyer: Did the price of a regular dvd go up to $2.00 to rent?
Sheila: Yes Sandy. Redbox is currently testing alternative daily rental prices in 12 markets. The selected pricing models are part of a localized test to understand the impact of price on our business.
I guess WI is one of the 12 markets. Don’t they know WI people are cheap?? Or should I say thrifty???? 🙂
