Target shoppers!

If you’re a regular Target shopper, you may have noticed that Target recently eliminated more than TWO-THIRDS of their “price and offer” call-out signs so you can easily spot where the true savings are.

That means you won’t see the confusing “Weekly Wow!”, “Bonus Offer”, “Temporary Price Cut”, “As Advertised” and similar signs all throughout the store and stand confused by what the deal is. They’re now only calling out the best, most compelling sales and promotions to shoppers.

Plus, Target has lowered their prices on thousands of items, from cereal and paper towels to baby formula, razors, bath tissue and more! They’ve decided to take a close look at the products that are most important to shoppers and ensure that they’re providing a great everyday value!

Lower prices? I have to check the Target website every visit. 99% of the items are at least $.50 more in-store than online

I have noticed this also. Checking and price matching can get a little irritating when it is their own website.

        Agreed

Neutrogena loose powder is $11.99 in store, vs $7.99 online price. Good thing I checked before paying. That’s a big difference!

I liked the yellow price cut signs. It grabs my attention.

  3. Em

I work at Target and i have yet to see the yellow signs, also when something is on sale be sure to note the actual price or snap a picture: just makes it easier for your cashier.

I was there a few days ago. Bought some Thomas Pumpkin bagels (YUMM!). The shelf said $2.49 but they rang up $3.29. Lots of other items do that too! :/

EEK! I hope you got back the difference.

Yes, online is better -sometimes even by multiple dollars! But you can do a price match to the target.com price at customer service. Also, in my area, I have three targets equidistant to me, and the one next to a walmart has SIGNIFICANTLY lower prices on almost everything

I NEVER grocery shop at Target anymore!! Their prices are ridiculous!!

I was shocked that Target.com prices were cheaper than in store. I recently paid $6.39 at Target for Wahl dry dog shampoo. A few days later I noticed on their site it was $2.99. Of course I took back the other bottle and bought it online. Crazy!

I’ve got things from targets that were one price at there sign then ring different at cashier thank goodness I had a coupon and still there prices are high! And there customer service isn’t all that great!
I don’t get there Banana prices

I have not been having good luck at any of my local targets the past few months. Nearly every item I go to get is sold out or just don’t carry it. The little remedies deal that was posted earlier would have been great except for the fact that my target hasn’t had it in stock in at least 5 months! Same with baby utensils and sprout baby food. It’s definitely been getting frustrated!

Same here– always sold out of what I’m looking for, or they don’t carry it lately. Disappointing!

I like Target but honestly the prices are so high. Where I live there are a few and in some the prices extremely vary. Also, almost all the deals I read about here are NEVER there. Or if something has a high cartwheel and ibotta it is nowhere to be found. I even go back later in the week to recheck for it. If there is a gift card deal and a raincheck won’t get that later like CVS does. Like I said I like the stores, but please have enough when you have deals and go look in Walmart to see the extreme difference in prices. Oh well, here is hoping they have some of the deals on this website this week.
