GREAT deal! I LOVE mine- I just wish they didn’t take up SO much room.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your feedback! Glad to hear how much you have liked yours!

    • Cruz

Yes, I agree they do take up too much room and that is the only reason I have not bought one yet, but I do want one, so I’ll have to figure it out

  2. Love Deals

I have same in red color n love it

  3. Carrie

I’m so amazed at how cheap you can get these now! Back then the lowest I could get it was at $200! Love my KA and this is an awesome price!

  4. Beth

Merry Christmas to ME!!! 🙂 Thank you so much!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re most welcome Beth!

  5. Shelly

Is this the best price or should I wait until the holidays?

    • Christina

This is the BEST PRICE! I just bought one I have been stalking H2S to find this deal – going back over a year this is the best price.

The 5 qt is plenty big enough – so big you might as well make double batches of cookies or brownies or cupcakes etc. It is the perfect size for bread!

  6. Kirsten

I have the same question as Shelly? Is this the best price or will it go lower?

  7. Kirsten

Any opinions? Is it better to go with the glass or the metal and is a 5 qt big enough or should I wait for a bigger one on sale?

    • Oshea

I prefer the metal. The glass is pretty but really heavy.

This is a great price for this set. The glass bowl is at least $75.00 each, the flex edge paddle is at least $30.00. I have both the glass bowl and the metal bowl and I leave mine on the counter in a corner with the glass bowl as on it. I really don’t think this will go much cheaper especially since it comes with the glass bowl. Good price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your helpful review!

Curious for those that have them, what you use it for the most? We don’t bake that much so trying to see if there are other other uses.

    • Kristi

I use it for bread all the time, pancake batter, mashed potatoes. Just a few ideas.

This is a terrific price. Also it fits under your counter. My larger, 30 yrs old Kitchenaid with the crank bowl, only fits right by my sink where the upper cabinets stop. My dad gave my mom, who would have been 106 this year, a Kitchenaid mixer for an engagement present.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the heads up!

Ebates is offering 10% cash back at Macy’s so that will take another )17.50 off 😊

I’ve been looking into a bigger better one KitchenAid mixer for a few years. Just ordered this in blue to replace my 15+ year old plain white base model (which my older sister will now get). Thank you! So excited!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome Carrie!

I know i’m late jumping on here, but…. does anyone really know their kitchenaid mixers? i’ve been wanting one for a while now. I KICK myself all the stinking time for not getting in on a deal that was available the beginning of last Dec. It was at kohls – with a sale and the 1 day 40% off code! it also had a $50 rebate and earned about $80 kohls cash. I think the total was about $250 (before KC), but it was a nice model, I believe the 600 (6qt), with 575 watts of power. A 5qt one would be fine, but 575 vs 300 watts (this one^^) is a big difference. Plus the kohls one came with a splash guard. though this one comes with the nicer beater – with the rubber on the side. I don’t think i care about head tilt vs bowl lift. what’s the pros/cons of glass vs metal bowl? I CAN NOT decide on which one to get for the best deal!! :-O thx for any last min help!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Susan Crawford

I have both, but the glass bowl is bigger than the metal bowl and it’s heavier. But I really like the glass bowl because I can see how every thing is mixing. Just a personal preference. I have the tilt head mixer. I have used the glass bowl for other things, I make jam, tomato sauce during gardening season. Because it has the pour spout. My bowl was a birthday present so I really appreciate it.

    • Carrie

Everything I’ve read said wattage is just a gimmick. I love my base model KA mixer. After 15 years I decided to go with this one. I’d LOVE to find a great deal on 6-qt. These machines are workhorses, even your 3.5/4 quart basic mixers. I find the metal bowl holds the cold and so I’m looking forward to the glass bowl.
