I have had this vacuum and I have the V8 now. This is amazing if you have a dog or young kids. It is so quick and easy to clean up dog hair and crumbs on the floor. I feel like in some cases with dog hair I try to sweep it and it just flies all over the room. I absolutely love this vacuum.

How do you feel about the price, I have lots of young kids and don’t sweep as much as I could, I think I’d prefer this but it’s a lot of money for a “broom”.
This is an awesome price. I have the V8 cordless and made way more but I wanted all the attachments. I think this is a good deal. I did have a 20% off at Bed Bath and Beyond and I had asked the manager politely and he used it on my fusion even though it said it excludes dyson. I was super excited and I use my several times a day.

FYI I too before this vacuum didn’t sweep as often as I should of. Now it is a breeze to clean up the kitchen floors after each meal.
I have the V6 and love it. I’ve had it for over four years but I’m ready for a new one. I was very interested in the V8 but was curious how much of a difference in power/performance is there between the V8 versus the V6?
Not sure if this might be helpful in your situation, but I’ve had one of these (dc35) for almost 6 years. It had gradually been losing battery life and we were going to buy a new one, but decided to buy a new battery for it and see how it worked. It’s like it’s brand new again. So I’m not sure if that’s your issue, but Amazon has non-dyson brand batteries for 20-something bucks. A lot cheaper than a new vacuum!!
Thanks Retta, I actually just recently bought a new battery from Amazon, but Im still having the problem of it intermittently shutting off 🙁 Seems like the battery is good now, but I can’t get it stay on!
