TY AGAIN! On my daughter’s Christmas list. I was on a QVC wait list for this and it included their sponge. It’s been waitlisted for awhile on QVC so I was nervous it would come through. I’ve never tried this and don’t usually wear concealer because they all seem to crease on me. What do you gals think about creasing with this concealer?
No creasing for me. A little goes a LONG way. Just dab a small amount to start 🙂
About creasing: it’ll depend on your age and skin type. My 16 yr old daughter with normal skin under eyes (oily in T zone) has no problems with creasing. I won’t even try because at almost 50 with dry skin – all the reviews for my age group say it’s too dry and doesn’t sit well. So…under 40 with normal to oily skin you’ll probably like it. Over 40, it might not work for you. Just what I’ve seen in beauty blogger reviews.
I have a hard time with liquid concealers, cuz most of them crease. I really like neutrogena Healthy skin smoothing stick. Although I end up having to use a Cotton swab to remove the contents of 1/2 of the product over time, I still can’t find a better product that works for me. And I have to use the original beauty blender to apply it;)
Do you guys set it with powder? Try baking, it’s a makeup term. Just google makeup baking! It’s essentially using your concealer as normal, and then using a sponge to pick up a lot of loose powder and placing it over where you put the concealer. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to absorb oil and extra product and then brush away the excess powder.
I’m in my 50’s and if I feel extra dry I will use a tiny amount of the Tarte Maracujja oil under my eyes before the shape tape. Works like a dream. Oh and you don’t need a lot of this concelor, too much can make it crease also. I hope that helps someone.
I love this concealer as well but had a hard time finding one that is the right shade. I’m fair with yellow undertones. I ended up with light natural which is just a hair too dark so I might get the light sand to mix with the light natural.
I am fair with pink undertones and I cannot find a tarte match. I even asked a sephora girl to use their reader and shes like nope.

No creasing. You just need a few dots. I blend out with a beauty blender and use setting powder.
My daughter gave me a tube about 6 months and I use it daily and i still haven’t run out.

I wear Lancôme 215 Buf N and in the Tarte Shape Tape I wear Light. I was matched at Ulta and wear it with my makeup. I don’t wear makeup everyday, but when I do I love my Shapetape.
