Are you a Pumpkin Pie fan?

My family LOVES Pumpkin Pie, especially around the holidays, and it’s actually pretty simple and quick to make a delicious pie at home! For this no fail recipe, all you have to do is mix up the filling, pour on top of a crust, and then bake it in the oven.

One thing I did when baking this pie (you totally don’t have to do this), was use the homemade pumpkin puree I had cooked a few days ago! In case you missed it, I used my Instant Pot pressure cooker to cook a small 2-pound pie pumpkin from the grocery store.  It was super easy – get the directions HERE.

You can do that, which is a very delicious option, or use a can of pumpkin puree instead.

For the crust you can definitely make your own favorite recipe or use a pre-made store bought dough crust. My family actually prefers graham cracker pie crust, so I picked up a larger 9 oz. graham cracker crust at the store in the baking isle.

Homemade Pumpkin Pie is AMAZING!

Serve it with some whip cream, and enjoy this fabulous treat you’ve just created! The filling turns out soft, yet firm and has lots of flavor. Feel free to adjust the spices if you like more spice, or to simplify – you can use Pumpkin Pie Spice instead of nutmeg and ginger.

We loved this recipe!
