I ordered this for my husband last Christmas – he was very happy with the wines. I chose the red and white mix and they arrived packed very well and he enjoyed the flavors.

Now I have wine delivered to my work address so I don’t have to chase down my wine deliveries.
I always worry about this. I’d love to do this deal when I see it posted but nobody is home during the day Mon-Friday. I guess I’d have to hope it was delivered on a Saturday or have to deal with trying to get it from the post office.
Ours shipped from FedEx, which is about 20 minutes away and only open on days/times that I’m at work. I was pretty annoyed. ☹️

All three times an adult signature was required. The wine was packaged well and no issue with breakage. I would not hesitate to order from this company again. Overall we have been very happy with purchases from Heartwood and Oak – the bargain offers with free shipping tend to be a great deal – 6 wines for around $30-$40 shipped. We prefer red wine, but a few wines have been horrible – Black Fox Cellars and Monarch Glen – which were part of the bargain deal. Used them for cooking though, so not an entire waste. The more expensive wines from this company have always been wonderful – they often send $50 – $100 certifcates to pay towards any future order you would want to purchase, but these orders usually call for additional shipping costs.

Does someone 21 or over actually have to be there to accept the package? I want to order but my husband and I both work full time and can’t imagine us ever being home when they try to deliver.
In some of the other comments people have said they do, which I completely understand. Someone above said she had to go to a fed ex office to pick it up and had trouble doing it in their hours
Yes you Have to be home to sign. I have it ship to work. After the first delivery attempt UPS allows you to deliver to a neighbor if you have a neighbor that is home all day.

We purchased this deal last year, and we did not have to sign for it. We’re in Oklahoma, and I’m not sure if it was a mistake from our carrier or what, but I was pleasantly surprised to come home from work to it on my porch. We were very happy with the quality, and I will be ordering again!

We have been ordering these wines for about 2 years now–gotten mostly reds, but occasionally a mixed case, and some sparklings. We have never gotten a bad one!! Always arrive in pristine condition. The one caveat–someone has to be home to sign for the delivery. If that is a problem, you can have them shipped to a workplace or UPS for pickup. I don’t think you’d be sorry!
