Darn it! Where was this when my son was younger and OBSESSED with vacuums???? I could have had him helping out around the house!

Check Marshalls, Home Goods, Ross, or TJMaxx. Got this last year for about $15.

Great find Sara! Thanks for the heads up!

My son got this as a gift and within a few months it broke. I remember trying to contact the company about getting a replacement cause it just stopped working (no damage) but couldn’t find contact info for them. I can’t remember what broke but it was significant enough for me to give it away, which is rare for me. The suction opening is only about an inch or two so don’t think your kid is going to vacuum the whole rug for you hahaha.

Thanks for the info. I was about to
Get it since my daughter loves to vacuum.

Do you recommend getting the warranty with Walmart?

Thanks! My lo been asking for a vaccum of her own 😉

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Too cute! Happy you can score this one for her! You are SO welcome!

My oldest got this vacuum when she was 2… 5 years and 3 more kids later… the youngest two (3 and 4) still play with it regularly!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

How neat! Good to know it has held up so well! Thanks for the feedback!

We have this. The suction isn’t strong. This is mostly just for playing, don’t really have too many expectations of it cleaning. That being said, my son loves playing with it when I vacuum. We now vacuum “togever”

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Aww, adorable!! Glad he can help mom vacuum!! 😉

I got a Dirt Devil Simpli-Stik when there was a deal for $14.88… mostly because I read a review that it is “toddler sized” and I figured I couldn’t get a play vacuum for much cheaper than that. I have to say, my 2-year-old loves it! The handle retracts into a pretty short size and it’s still a little too big for her, but she spent a good half hour vacuuming my kitchen the other week! Win-win for mommy and kid! 😉

My 2 year old loves to vacuum with me too. I also bought him a stick vac and he loves the real thing more than the toy vacuun

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Oh cool! Thanks for sharing!

    • Melissa

That’s what we did too! It’s perfect! Just wish the cord was slightly longer for him

    • SD

I want to get a real one too but I am scared to let my kiddo use the one plugged into electric plug.. still looking for cheaper cordless options

We are on our third of these. They tend to break easily I hate you say, but my kids still love it because it looks real. By the way, our third one is broke, I haven’t felt like bringing it back AGAIN!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh no! Sorry to hear you have been through a few of them now 🙁 Thanks for the honest feedback Jessica!

I found a pink dirt devil one that has the handheld vacuum in it for $2 at Goodwill! It turns on & makes the sound, but no suction. My daughter, niece, & nephew love it!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Great find Lisa!

  10. Alysha

I have this on my son’s Christmas ideas list! Thank you!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Perfect! YW!

Just bought from Target and used the 5% off red card and free shipping. My son will love this.

I got one last year from bed bath beyond and used a 20% off coupon. May want to check and see if it’s cheaper there. My daughter loves it! Every time I vacuum, she takes hers out and follows me around with it. She’s 2 now, and still plays with it regularly.

  13. MammaK

Where was this 15 years ago when my son was little and liked to help me clean

  14. Rebecca

This is so cute but looks so little.
