      Such a great idea!

  2. Ben

If anyone has a DPCI for this item, please post. THANK YOU and happy Sunday to all!

      Here you go! 003-08-0470

      • riss

I tried this and it was Wisk detergent, not Persil.

        • Mac

Yeah for some reason when you look up the DPCI, it says that. Don’t worry, this is the Persil DPCI. I got it directly from Target.com

          • riss

            That’s good! Thanks!

        • Jennifer

Persil replaced Wisk. That’s why. Wisk is no longer made.

      • Ben

        Thanks Mac!! I appreciate it!!

Thank you Collin and team for clarifying how to use this particular persil coupon. That is one of the reasons why I love hip2save. I have seen so many youtube videos saying that it’s “ok” to use 4 in one transaction, even though the coupon states differently. Isn’t this going to hurt everyone in the long run? I just get very irritated seeing this. End rant.

    • Mac

For certain coupons, you can use 4 in one transaction. In this case, you can’t. This coupon can only be used once in one transaction. Just make sure to read the fine print on some of these coupons. Hope this helped.

    • Kelli

Really have to watch out, there are a lot of social media groups out there that Misuse coupons and basically show how to commit coupon fraud weekly. You will not see that on Hip2Save. It blows my mind that there are still groups out there and people whose first and last names are on their social media accounts, and they basically show you how to misuse coupons for items they were never even intended for, or for using multiple in a transaction when it clearly states that it’s not to be used that way. So I guess what I’m saying is just watch out, there is information out there but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s correct. The coupons themselves should clarify if you are allowed to use one per purchase of the item or 1 per transaction, and that’s going to be the difference.

  4. Becca

I love the vacation idea. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  5. Laurie

My store Doesn’t have it – but I can only imagine the sh*t I would receive trying to use a $3 cpn on a lower priced item! One time the gal told me the cpn wouldn’t work because I’m not supposed to receive anything free 😩 – hate Target !

    • Cassandane

That cashier was out of line. The BS is that Target (and other stores) don’t give to overage to you, yet themselves get reimbursed for the full face value + $.09. Grr.

      • FitbitMom

        Good to know!

    • Oshea

I was told that my Tide coupon wouldn’t work on clearance by an associate. Of course it did though. Target screens each coupon thoroughly.

    • Joann Bally-Chase

Yep! Target is the absolute worst! I hate Target!

    • roxy

Ha. Had the exact same problem. Last time. I’m done couponing at Target.

  6. CherryBlossom

Wish I saw this earlier. Just shopped at Target not long ago.

  7. Mary

I tried this deal at my Target. The coupon wouldn’t scan (it beeped), and I was told that it wasn’t valid on travel/trial size items. Even after I told them that the coupon said that it was valid on ANY size.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! Were you able to speak with customer service?

      • Mary

Spoke with the manager and she reiterated the same. I seem to be having more and more issues using valid coupons at Target for the last couple of shopping trips. I think I will be taking my business elsewhere.

  8. It's Me!

I saw a sign at my Target quite a while ago saying they don’t take coupons printed off the internet. Has anyone ever had an issue redeeming a coupon they printed?

    • Melissa

My local target takes them all the time. No issues. I’m in Virginia.

    • Riss

Our local Target stores take printed coupons, but man, are they scrutinizing every word in the coupon!

  9. Candy

Is it suppose to have $2 off coupon on the back of item? None of the bottoms have it even pic show coupon in the back. I saw employee at the target store took off $ off coupon from items before.

  10. Happy

I received a manufacturer’s coupon for $2 with a Persil sample a while back, which I used today for the small bottle. The cashier adjusted the coupon to $1.99. I paid $0 OOP. The small bottle did not come with any peelie coupons. FYI, for my other purchases (i.e. Annie’s pasta), a manager came by and scanned each printed manufacturer’s coupon with an app on his phone before allowing the cashier to process the transaction, screening for fradulently printed coupons. I didn’t have any of course so the transaction went smoothly after that.

  11. Mel R.

Could be just me, but I don’t see the point of wasting a higher value coupon on a trial size, esp at a store that has to adj to to the selling price, just to get it free. JMHO!

    • Kelli

I’m with ya. I’d rather get a large one at CVS this week wth their sale, and pay just a little bit for a large container instead of a tiny one for free with An adjust down.

    • Erin

Not only that, but publicizing such a use hurts us in the long run. You know someone (or many) will stockpile/clear the shelves and resell on FB, then manufacturers start getting super specific when releasing coupons, making it more difficult to coupon. . . .

      • Kelli

This has been making me really angry lately too!

    • Lisha

Because I have tried Persil previously and I feel it’s a decent laundry detergent I will use the q for a larger bottle of laundry detergent.
However, if I never tried it and prefer to try it out for free instead of paying pop, then I would certainly take advantage of the smaller bottle (that is recommended here on h2s) because I am paying $0 oop. As stated above, it’s a good size for traveling. Also, I think it is a nice alternative if u want to include it as part of a goodie bag/basket to someone.

    • Sara

Agree! I used my Persil coupons at CVS this week, I paid under $4 for 4 bottles of detergent, 2 L’Oreal products, 2 Maybelline products, 1 Renuzit, 3 packs of Schick Razors, a tube of Colgate toothpaste and 2 packs of peanut butter M&Ms and got back $17 ECB!!

  12. amanda

I went to Target today and was told that I could not use that coupon. I ask if they could adjust it and that it doesn’t have a size restriction. I was still told no.

    • Kristin

Target is terrible with their coupon rules, especially printables… I don’t even bother anymore.

  13. Jen

I used this coupon at Target today and it worked fine. The cashier just had to manually type in the price.

  14. Aixa

Last week I went to my local target in Westwood MA for the Nivea tin can cream deal going on ($2.00/1 Nivea product) the tin cans were about .97 cents and my target adjusted the price. I’ll try the persil deal tomorrow there to BUT a lot of times this same target certain items that are on sale and have a coupon out as well vanish as in I think the store hides the items until the said is over. This time last year a lot of coupon blogs had a crazy cheap deal on infant detergent going around and when I went the same size and price that applied to the sale and coupons weren’t on the shelves but other products that were the same just bigger were

    • Kayla

Either that or shelf clearers, people buy stacks of coupon inserts and clear shelves and sell items on CL or FB for profit.

  15. Jenn

I prefer doing the Persil deal at CVS on bigger sizes and multiple trips where my coupons won’t be adjusted down. I don’t understand why Target adjusts coupon when they get reimbursed for a full amount or so! Not shopping at Target lately for this reason and for the fact that most of their items being sold are way overpriced with or without deals just like their snack packs for example.

  16. Leanne Gilbert

This coupon can’t be used on this size bottle. Even thou it doesn’t state a size it does say in the fine print towards the bottom “can’t be used on special packs, trial and travel size”. This is considered a trial/travel size! This is why it’s not scanning at Target because it’s not intended to use on this size.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks for the heads up! I am finding those details now as well.

  17. wklsunflower

worked for me at target today, it did beep, but only because the price was lower then coupon, it adjusted itself to 1.99 so it was free
