Thanks for mentioning the reviews… I didn’t realize they all seem to be falling apart! I have bought a few for gifts and am now worried it’s money wasted. This is the last color I needed, but now I am hesitant to buy more.
I’m wondering if the reviews are for the ‘fake’ ones? Since you can buy from multiple sellers, Amazon doesn’t separate the review for the actual Wowwee ones vs the fake. Toys R Us has better reviews. I still think it’s an overpriced piece of plastic that they’ve hyped up… and for $14.99 it probably cost them $1.99 to manufacture with very few QC measures.. but, it’s Christmas so we all jump on the bandwagon to see our kids smile lol 🙂

These are not the real deal. There are many knock offs being sold and I bought one of them by accident as well.

The reviews on these official ones on Amazon are not great. I saw that the knock off a had these problems, but so do the real ones. Almost thinking if you can’t catch a real one at this price that the knock off it the way to go. They seem like they all have similar issues.
saw these at my local kohl’s today! they had a whole end cap full of them in the boys department but none in the regular toy section.
Same here. I went to Kohls on Tuesday and they had all the colors available except for the black one priced at $14.99 as well.

Here’s a tip for target shoppers, ask them to go in the back and check for you. After following brickseek my store kept saying they had some in stock and all the employees said they don’t any well I am finding that the targets are keeping them in the back for some reason. 4 different targets all had them in the back and not on the shelf. So be persistent.

This is legit, as long as you see that it says “Ships and sold by Amazon” (but don’t buy from a 3rd party seller!). I got mine delivered last week and it’s 100% authentic Fingerling.

I just walked into Toy r us and got a pink and purple one. They said they got 100 today and people were waiting 2 hours before opening. Try your local toys r us cause I have a feeling they released a limit to all stores today
