I had a Costco membership when we lived in California (such a necessity there for gas), but I let it expire when we moved awhile ago. I wonder if I would be considered a “new” member now?

Check your Credit Card statements! I got double billed for this Costco offer and the phone lines are slammed with others having the same issue.

So I went today to complete my membership after I got this offer and they made a huge deal about me getting it thru a third party. Has anybody had this experience as well? They still honored it but just made a huge deal about it!
