    Best Buy has just about the worst Online Delivery and Customer Service ever. My past 4 orders with them have been a total disaster and they do nothing to make things better. I received Skylanders that were open or had totally damaged packaging and even Skylanders that didn’t even have any packaging!!! I also received a used DVD and a few toys that were completely squashed. I never got my free items that came with other items I purchased and when I called Customer Service, the representative didn’t even know what I was talking about. I have wasted so much time calling and chatting with them that I decided never to buy from them again.

      Completely agree! We ordered a microwave that came dented. They sent a new one that came dented. It took three months to get a microwave and then then they refused to credit my credit card after they picked up the dented microwaves! They won’t get my money this Christmas!

        So sorry to hear that, Tosha!! It’s so incredibly frustrating!! Best Buy is certainly NOT the BEST buy!! Such a shame, because they have good products and sometimes good prices too. If only they cared a little more about their customers…

    I agree unfortunately with the above. We bought my Dad a laptop last year for Christmas and I took advantage of some of the holiday deals. They count the day you purchase as the first day of their 30 day return policy, keep that in mind. I guess they think you should open all holiday gifts before giving. Once my Dad opened the laptop and we set it up on 1/3 or so he started to get error message. The power cord connection was bad and the laptop was a lemon. Not Best Buy’s fault but trying to replace it wasn’t fun. They didn’t want to help me, then offered a different one at double the price. I finally had to argue and get store manager who would only give me store credit. So let me give my Dad a store credit and no laptop in that price range now available. It was a mess – then a nice guy as Customer service felt bad how it was handled and somehow credited my credit card back. We did finally get a new laptop after the sales started up again. So keep that in mind about higher end purchases and their return policies if buying items early.

    Best Buy’s return window is only 15 days. I’m not sure if they have extended for the holiday season yet.

    Honestly only thing I have ever bought from them were games and movies shipped. Luckily no issues.

    I’ve been looking to buy the theater seats they have in the Best Buy store but now I’m concerned with the customer service comments. We’ve bought a 4K TV and desktop computer in the past with no problems.

    I have bought numerous printers and an IPhone from Best Buy, no issues yet. Sorry to hear how customer service has been in the instances listed above as it does cause me concern with future purchases.

    I won’t lie, the shipping is horrible! I bought the same TV 2 times and it was damaged. On the third time I decided to have it shipped to the store. It was perfect. Don’t get it shipped to your house! I know it’s an inconvenience but UPS trashes packages and they don’t care because it doesn’t belong to them. Best buy was good to me. They couldn’t honor a coupon but they did honor the sale price so there was that.

    Their customer service is horrible and according to consumer report, they have one of the worst return policies for big box stores and online. I only buy from Best Buy if it’s a really good deal and I can pick up in store.

    Scares me reading all of the above comments 😔 We just purchased a washer and dryer from bb last night and won’t be delivered until the end of November. Which I was t happy about but it wasn’t in stock at any nearby stores. Anyone have any issues with purchasing washer/dryer from them? Maytag to be exact.

      Best Buy is great! I’ve had great experiences with their customer service as of late. We bought all new kitchen appliances from Best Buy this year. A few months after, our dishwasher started leaking. Manufacturer sent someone out and said it was damaged in transit and wouldn’t cover repair. Since Best Buy had delivered it to our home, they replaced it for us (2 months after return period). It took some time to go through the motions, but in the end, they took care of us.

    Few months ago I ordered a Macbook as a birthday gift to be picked up the next day. The order wasn’t ready by the next day and was showing as “processing” for a week. I called customer service at least 5 times and the last time I finally got to speak with an experienced agent who was able to cancel my order in 24 hours. I decided to just purchase it in store and give it as a super late gift.

    I definitely agree…worse delivery/customer service ever. I bought an Ipad for my daughter’s birthday, it must have been shaked, thrown about or who knows before it was delivered. Of course it doesn’t work right when we open it. Gave it to her while we were on our week’s vacation and had to go to store as soon as we returned I think a day after their return policy. Gave me such a hard time! I finally gave up and went to the Apple store, they replaced my ipad with a brand new one within seconds.
