   My son got the red version for Christmas last year- he’s 8 now and had almost no interest after being forced to work on it eventually for perhaps 30 min. Great toy and lots of building skills but if they are easily frustrated and like to give up easily might not be good. Other kids 8-10 I know have loved it. I’ve put it in a shoebox to retry at some point because it is a nice project.
