xfinity mobile has FREE talk and text. you need to purchase a phone thru them either financed 24 mos or pay in full. if you use no data- no charges except if financing phone charge. if you use data its $12/gb shared data or $45 per line for unlimited. uses verizon service plus the 22 million wifi hotspots.

better plan imho. cut my cell phone bill by 2/3 with them.

And they only use Verizon towers. I left Verizon for Xfinity mobile. 3 lines cost me $23.50 total after taxes and fees. That saves me $120 per month from only 2 lines with Verizon ( with corporate discount) the savings paid my internet and cable bill. So happy. I got 4 LG Xcharge phones for $1 each (usually $200) no financing, no contract, can’t believe it!

Verizon has the most reliable towers! We were on the road for 8 mo from the gulf to remote areas on the US/Canadian border & Verizon ALWAYS had service. Our other company (won’t name names) supported data iPad had no service most the time. Couldn’t pay me to leave Verizon.

I feel the same way! People always complain about how high their Verizon bill is but I look at it like this – I’m paying for reliable service 100% of the time. A lot of my friends with AT&T don’t have service at some places that I always have service.

How/when did you get the pioneer for $1? Can you give me more information? Thanks!

If you’re asking how I got the LG phones for $1 each, Xfinity had a $200 off any flagship phone. I thought at first they were referring to the Galaxy S7 or 8, out the iPhone line. I saw the Xcharge for $200. I added it to the cart and they only charged me $1 at checkout. So I repeated this process 3 more times for a total of 4 phones at $1 ea shipped. Got them in 2 days. That have me a total of 5 Xfinity phones since I bought one in full to try the service a few months before. I have 3 lines active ($23.50mo total) (we don’t use a lot of data 99%WiFi) and that leaves me 2 phones in case any get lost or broken. Cheaper than the insurance and hassle of a claim. Just look for deals at the Xfinity mobile web page. HTH

Interesting, do you need to be an xfinity cable member or can you just take advantage of the wireless services? Anyone have issues with this service?

    • πŸ’š Fridays

You have to have Xfinity internet service to get the up to 5 free phone lines (no line charges). I’ve had zero issues. I even kept my Verizon account open after I ported my phone numbers over to Xfinity just in case I hated it. I can’t tell any difference since they use Verizon towers. I use way less data now because the phones can auto connect to every Xfinity wifi hotspot (which is everywhere in my city).

I’ve considered getting Xfinity Mobile but due to timing, ended up on Verizon Prepaid. The terms on their website say it’s a $10 line fee if you don’t have an active Xfinity product (tv, phone, or internet). I’m not sure if you can sign up without current Xfinity service, but it looks like you can keep your account and pay the extra $10 if you’re no longer an Xfinity customer.
