Tomorrow, November 4th, USA Hockey and over 500 local programs across the country are offering up the chance for kids between the ages of 4 and 9 to try Youth Hockey completely FREE! They will even have equipment available for use free of charge.

Thanks for posting a while back!! We had signed up and took our 4 yr old today. It was great for him to try and he enjoyed it (except the falling down part).

🙁 we did not have a good experience. We signed up online weeks in advance, drove 2.5 hours to get to the nearest participating ice rink and when we got there no one wanted to talk to us. Apparently, USA hockey suggests that all arena’s participate on a specific date (Nov 4), but they do not require it. The rink we went to was having a huge hockey tournament and were changing their day to Wednesday, but we did not know that.
The worst part was that I had told my kids for two days that I was taking them for a surprise. They were very disappointed and I learned a new mom lesson (don’t trust online registration- call to confirm)
