Anyone used this? Is it worth it?

  2. Victoria

Definitely does not work. You’re better off putting Elmer’s school glue on your face.

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear that Victoria 🙁 Thanks for your honest review!

You know what works great and is much cheaper…. 1 packet plain gelatin powder, about 2 tablespoons of milk, and I add one drop of my favorite smelling essential oil ( because without it I think this recipe smells bad)… heat in microwave for like 10 seconds and apply to your face. Wait about 15 minutes for it to fully dry than peel off. It will likely make you cry ripping it off 😱 haha but it leaves your face feeling amazing! I try and do it like once a month 👍

I’ve been doing this for years minus the essential oil and it works magnificently!

Thanks for the warning before I try your recipe 🙂

    • Natalie

In what area of the store is gelatin powder sold? is there a specific brand?

      • Steph-B

        Baking Isle

I use baking soda with a little water. Great exfoliator.

I do an egg white ( battered) and lemon drops, works good and the lemon clarifies the skin. Also oatmeal, milk and honey it moisturize’s and shrink pores, don’t forget to rinse with cold water too.

Charcoal stuff is everywhere . . .the Biore scrub tingles, but I don’t know if it really “does” anything.
