I have learned to buy an extra box of matching glasses and keep them boxed in the back of the cabinet. One or two of our “fancy” glasses always breaks and then the set is not matching anymore. Now, i just take a glass from the hidden box and we still have matching glasses (my older sister-in-law shared this tip with me when we were entertaining and didn’t have matching glasses).

Good Tip! I love this design for glasses. It is my favorite! Very elegant. My mom has had her set for many, many years. She never puts her glasses in the dishwasher because of temperature fluctuations from the hot water heat to the cool down stresses the glass. She has never lost a glass yet!! I have a set of wine glasses similar to this syle and never have placed them in the dishwasher. They are 20 years old and going strong. I am purchasing this set for daily use, and I too love the idea of buying an extra set incase of breakage. I don’t like having an odd amount to a set 🙂 !
