So, apparently Amazon doesnât do price adjustments anymore?! ( products that are sold by Amazon)
I believe they used to have a 14 day policy.
Supposedly their main focus now is to just outbeat the competition. They lower their prices if another store has it lower. If the price is lowered within even days, they donât care. I wish I knew that when I thought I would just ask later; could have returned the higher and ordered when price went much lower days apart.
Honestly, Amazon is growing too big to care. Whenever possible I now try not to shop with them.
Iâm not a fan of amazon anymore either. What happens to me now constantly is that things say prime. But wonât ship out for 5 days, making me wait way longer than anticipated for a âprimeâ item. And their customer service just is not what it used to be. In fact they wonât even publish my bad reviews which seems fishy to me.

I didnât renew prime for 5 months now and thought I was treated worse because I am no longer prime.
Shipping with no prime takes like 10 days and sometimes it arrives a day or two after the date they say. One time my late package was left outside an apartment building at around midnight! I didn’t expect it to arrive after 8pm and on that day since they didnât update the late shipment with a new delivery date. I left home to stay with friends across town, had to drive in the middle of the night to retrieve it since they sent me a photo of the package outside and I couldnât go to sleep thinking about it.
Anyways, we are feeding this monopoly by buying from them. Soon we wonât have any other options, no competition. Amazonis spreading fast, they took over Wholefoods and will take my local Barnes&Noble out, which lost the lease to some new amazon home goods store.
They are all about squeezing now. Even send us their trash with th order. Did you notice that strip from plastic mailers? Yeah.
