Note from Collin:

Do you have a product you love? We definitely have many favorite products here on the Hip2Save Team, and thought it would be FUN to share some of them with you! I personally love product recommendations and I’ve also had a few requests from readers, so I have asked each member of the team to think of products they love (cosmetics, kitchen gadgets etc.) and to write up a post that will be shared here almost every Tuesday. Today, Bryn is sharing one of her favorites…

Hey There! It’s Bryn – Collin’s sister and sidekick!

If you’re like me and like to have a daily (or maybe hourly!) sweet treat, then you need to read this post! Now please be warned that this delicious snack/dessert/candy that I am sharing with you is highly addictive and your thighs may not appreciate my suggestions.

OK, so take note that you have been warned! ⚠️

So what is this insanely yummy treat? It is a 32 ounce bag of Edward Marc Dark Chocolate Coconut Almonds – each bag contains 2 pounds of lightly salted and toasted almonds rolled in a layer of sweet coconut shavings and covered in dark chocolate. Seriously – it’s like a little taste of heaven.

And the best part – these bags are currently on sale for just $6.98 each (regularly $9.89) at Costco Warehouse through November 16th. This is a CRAZY good price as this same 2-pound bag sells for $15 on the Edward Marc website.

Besides stocking up on these bags for yourself, these make great teacher gifts!

One tip to keep you from devouring the entire bag in a few hours (yes, this can easily happen!) –> I throw each bag in the freezer so when I take out a handful, it takes me a little longer to eat each one.

I also suggest counting out the serving size of 10 almonds and placing them in a bowl. This is a suggestion from personal experience as I have literally eaten several servings on my own thanks to an open, inviting and very lonely bag sitting on the couch next to me.

Note from Bryn:

This is just an honest post that was not sponsored by the manufacturer. I just really love this product & wanted to share it with you. Enjoy!

Do you have to be a fan of dark chocolate to enjoy these?

    • Bryn (Sister Sidekick)

I don’t necessarily think so as the dark chocolate is pretty sweet – it is not bitter like some dark chocolate can be.

      • Kay

Thank you for your additional feedback Bryn! I will definitely give these a try. 🙂

        • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Hi Kay! Our dark chocolate isn’t like most – it’s much sweeter! Please feel to reach out to us for more questions at pr@edwardmarc.com

Are Costco sales regional? I’ve noticed when you do your Costco post several of the items are not on sale at my Costco…like these for example.

    • Bryn (Sister Sidekick)

I was always under the impression that Costco stores across the country hosted the same sales at the same time BUT I could be wrong. You could always give your local store a call to see if they do indeed have this same sale price.

      • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Hi Steph! Our Dark Chocolate Coconut Almonds are available at select Costco locations, which does depend on the region of the country you live in. If you would like to see these at your local Costco, please fill out a comment card at the Costco customer service desk. They assure us that they read every comment card and try to accommodate customers’ requests!

These are amazing! I’m wondering if my Costco has them back in stock, they had them this summer but I haven’t seen them there the past couple months. I’ll have to check again.

I have to agree with this post!! I don’t like coconut much, but decided to try a sample because I love dark chocolate and almonds. I ended up buying the entire bag and it’s so hard to have self control with these chocolates! Perfect balance of flavors and absolutely delicious.

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Thank you so much for your kind words about our product! Enjoy!

  6. Pharmchick

Some advice… try the chocolate and coconut covered almonds fromtrader Joe’s. Life changing. It’s a miracle I don’t down the whole box in a go!

    • Bryn (Sister Sidekick)

Oh! I will have to give those a try too! Thanks for the recommendation!

    • Amy

I agree… the Trader Joe’s chocolate covered coconut almonds are amazing!

I tried a sample of these at Costco a couple months ago and immediately grabbed a bag. They are like an amazing gourmet bite sized almond joy. Soo good

I am seriously obsessed with these!! I leave the bag in my fridge and count out a serving too. BEST treat after the kids are in bed!

    • Bryn (Sister Sidekick)

Yes, they have become a nightly treat in our household. 🙂

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

A great bedtime treat indeed! We love that idea to put them in the fridge – we’ll definitely have to try that!

  9. Heather

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these but can’t buy them. I lost 200 pounds and these will get me right back up there in a hurry. 🙂

These are so good…but so dangerous. I found myself eating several servings in one sitting and before I knew it the bag was gone! So delicious!

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Don’t worry, that happens to us too!

  12. jishmo

These are the best!!! So addicting though. I love the idea of putting them in the freezer. Thanks for sharing.

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Agreed! We put in a bag of our Coconut Almonds in the freezer and we’re excited to give them a try!

  13. Stacey

Wow! Sounds amazing, I love Almond Joys and these sound similar.

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

If you like coconut and chocolate, you’ll definitely like these!

  14. Kelly Kelly

My Costco doesn’t have them. I was visiting my kids in SC this past weekend and they had them in stock! But not on sale. Bought 4 bags to bring back home. My husband is happy. We keep them in the fridge too

Please say these are dairy free!?!?

    • Cherice

I looked (our fam doesn’t have dairy products after watching What the Health four months ago) and they are made with milk 🙁

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

They are not dairy-free, but it’s something we’ll consider for the future!

  16. Sofia

    Omg, these are sooooo delicious!

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Thanks for sharing your love for Coconut Almonds! 🙂

  17. Emily Kukis

I could totally relate to this post!! I absolutely love these!!! I am like you I have to dish out the serving or I can’t stop. I have never loved a sweet treat as much as I do these. It is crazy.

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Thank you for your kind words about our product! Enjoy!

  18. Cara

Off topic but Costco related. Has the bottled diet green tea been discontinued? I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve checked a few stores in west TX and Prescott, AZ. I didn’t travel there just for that purpose but I did force my hiking buddy to take me to every Costco that we passed.

  19. Paisley

    These are soooo addictive! Yum!

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

      Enjoy!

  20. CAkiwi519

    These ARE absolutely delicious!

  21. Pre1700

I love these. They are delicious

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

      Thank you, enjoy!

  22. T2e2d2

They have something very similar my husband loves at aldi, dark chocolate cornered coconut almonds. My three year old sucks all the coconut and chocolate off and hides the nuts🤣🤣

  23. Megan

I totally agree. These are one of my very favorite treats. I also highly recommend the peppermint trufflecreams. They are only sold in November and December, but my store sells out before mid December. The brand is Dillettante and they are individually wrapped in green wrappers. So yummy….I try to wait as long as I can before opening the bag! 😀

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

We hope you enjoy our product, and glad that we’re one of your favorite treats!

  24. Danielle

You’re so right. These are amazingly addicting and probably similar to crack! I kid you not, since we bought them once and ate the bag in prob 3 days, we haven’t been able to find them around our Costcos in Indianapolis area any longer!! Boo!!

    • Edward Marc Chocolatier

Hi Danielle! Our Dark Chocolate Coconut Almonds are only available at select Costco locations for a limited time. If you would like to see these restocked at your local Costco, please fill out a comment card at the Costco customer service desk.
