These absolutely nest! The lids don’t lock together like some, but if you aren’t too crazy with your storage, they stack very neatly on top of the nested bowls. 🙂
Unless they changed the design since I bought them several years ago, they absolutely nest with the lids on. That’s the best thing about them; no loose lids!

Are lids durable enough for long term use. I always find lids tearing after a while for this kind of glass products
They are durable, but will not survive being placed on a hot electric stove…personal experience, lol. I wish they sold the lids separately because I love the bowls, but have messed up 2 of the lids (from my own stupidity, not because they ripped!).
