Was there just a post about a hot deal on gift cards? I thought I was on Hip2Save but it isn’t here anymore and honestly I was doing five different things at the time so who knows LOL!

    • Cheryl

There are a lot of gift card deals coming up at Rite aid.

  2. Lauren

Thanks for the reminder! I need to get gifts for the kiddos at our volunteer fire dept Xmas party this is perfect!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome Lauren!

  3. M

I stock up and put toys in a box for the birthday party’s that come up throughout the year.

  4. Krystal

Love this deal each year! It’s my way to get the stocking stuffers! I save up my points all year to get as much for as little as possible

  5. B

I just went there today for gifts for the Operation Shoebox program and Angel Tree program. It was only buy 2, get 1 free today, which is still good, but not as good as get 2 free! Does anyone know if they would let me take my receipt back tomorrow and let me get one more free toy?

    • Lori Stevens

Yes, take the toys back and they will let you get another toy for free.

  6. B

And I would’ve liked to get the bonus points idea you mentioned also! Much better deal than I got! Thanks for the post!

  7. Lora

I would just return and repurchase tomortow😁

  8. Kc

The Walgreens toy selection this year is awesome! I’ve been seeing tons of unique and cool gifts. Thanks!

  9. Coby

If I use my points to buy toys..do I still get the 5k bonus points when i get $30 worth?

    • Just passing through

No. If it says when you spend $$$ ( spend $30 get 7k points) you have to spend actual money not points. If it’s buy 2 get 5k then you can use points.

    • Tammy

No, Coby, you would not receive points on that transaction if you use your points to pay, because it is a threshold offer. ($30.00 in this case.)

  10. Veronica

Is there any toys for babies?

    • B

I did see some toys that would be great for 6m-18m.

      • Veronica

        Oh cool! Thanks!

  11. Kuyuke

I wonder what time the sale starts for stores open 24 hours…

    • have a good day

It used to drop the new ad prices at midnight, sometimes shortly after if the systems were running slow and usually continued to run the previous weeks ad prices for an hour or so after midnight so you could get both weeks sales in one tripm it’s been a few years since I worked second shift but I loved going after work and getting both the previous and current weeks sale prices

  12. Danny Bz

    Nice

  13. Danny Bz

    Good deals.

  14. faith

Doesn’t this sale happen once more before Christmas also?

    • Heather

From what I remember it does

  15. Meredith

My Walgreens just told me the only toys included are the few on the front cover of the sales ad. Anyone know if that’s true? I thought hot wheels and puzzles were also included.

    • Jennifer S

Your Walgreens is incorrect. It is on ALL toys priced $6.99
If they read the fine print on the ad it says it. I was just in there so I can tell you with certainty that it is all toys $6.99!
      Have fun!

      • Meredith

I wanted the 5 piece wooden puzzle sets. Like the paw patrol, ninja turtles, cars, dory, etc. the girl wouldn’t even ring them up. She said they’re not included. You won’t get any free. 😔

        • Michele

It’s all $6.99 toys! They will ring up buy 2 get 2. I just bought 12 toys for $42 and tax! They basically work out to be $3.50 each.
          Thank you hip2save!!!

        • Kohlsshopping

They were $6.99? They should work, if she would have tried them.

        • Mourrene

Wouldn’t be surprised if I had a similar experience at my Walgreens. That’s one of the reasons I stopped shopping there. This one particular cashier always gave me a hard time on stuff I knew I was right about. I’m going to try to go by there though because that’s a good buy.

        • Amy

The wooden puzzles are included. I just bought 4.

      • Danielle

Your Walgreens is wrong. I was just there about bought 12 different toys. None of the toys featured on the cover. Any toys that are $6.99

  16. Sronda1

This is a GREAT DEAL…. GIFTING OR DONATIONS the TOYS are NICE and some top BRANDS ALL the TOYS @ 6.99 are part of the promotion only thing some stores have a better selection than others i got tons of things for under $50 HAPPY SHOPPING SAVING and giving back😊

  17. Tiff

I love doing this every year!

  18. JT

Can you mix n match the toys?

    • B

Yes, any of the toys marked with the Buy 2 deal and 6.99 price.

  19. Heather

My local Walgreens only had buy 2 get one free and would not give me the deal so I left 😫 very disappointed in Walgreens!!!

    • Jenni

Mine too. Buy two get one. I’ve been to three and mom are advertised buy 2 get 2.

    • B

That’s not right if they’re not giving you the advertised deal! Strange that the sales associates know nothing about the sale, and don’t know how to honor a sale in your ad you present to them. It’s a shame that they’re not better informed. There has to be a way for you to get the deal! I’m sorry you’ve had all of that trouble!

      • laureen

Some people really don’t know or take it to literal! As a walgreens employee i know. I see it. They should let people take as much as they want! I don’t Stop them we have a buttload of toys all over the place! In the aisles! Up front, on tge top of aisles, in the stock room! Who wants extra!?!?

  20. B

There is a selection of 6.99 toys and 9.99 toys by each other, so you need to check the item with the barcode or description to be sure it’s one of the included 6.99 toys.

  21. Heather

Just made the drive to my Walgreens for this deal only – not only did they not have the buy two, get two free anywhere but only a few toys were buy 2, get 1.
They only had very limited selection of buy 2, get 1. Bummer to make drive and not get the deal. Oh well.

    • Autumn

Same here! No sign and selections were very limited.

  22. Thethreeofus

I ended up with a paw patrol big find and seek book very good quality a black and decker kids tool set a Mickey Mouse ball and goal set for the tub and a etch a sketch thing all for 15.23 great deal I was the only person there lol and they had tons to choose from

  23. Ming

Is this the best deal for toys @ walgreens? As the employee said it’s possible on thanksgiving day, the toy clearance will be buy 1 get 2 free.. anyone knows about this? Thank you

  24. Valerie H

For the people who are saying their Walgreen’s doesn’t have the signage up for this deal, try it anyway!! My Walgreens NEVER has signage up, sale tags up, nothing. But I just grab the flyer at the front of the store and double check that I’m getting what’s in the ad and then show it to them at the register if it doesn’t ring up correctly. However it usually rings up just fine, they just weren’t tagged. Good luck!!

    • jen

Agreed, my store had no signage up and the cashier knew nothing about this sale, but I tried it anyway and it worked, I trust Hip2Save over cashiers and signage lol.

  25. teresa

My walgreens in cincinnati only has buy2get 1 and very very slim selection. Puzzles were not included.

  26. Julie

They are slowww to put correct signs out:(

  27. brenda

My Walgreens did not have correct signage out either. The sign posted said buy two get one free but I got the sale circular to make sure if they didn’t ring up correctly they would honor it. The toys weren’t very well-marked with prices either so you have to be careful that you are getting the $6.99 toys.

  28. Bianca Olvera

My Walgreens tried to tell me I couldn’t get the deal either but after calling a manager and actually reading the ad they realized they were incorrect. I got 8 gifts for just a little over 30 dollars.

  29. Cathy

The closest Walgreen’s didn’t have many toys so I picked up my desk calendar’s I’d ordered on sale and went to another Walgreen’s. They had the wrong signage but the toys rang up correctly, b2g2. Puzzles were included (those puzzles are awesome) and also found some cute soft baby dolls for $6.99 and a Fisher Price sorting toy for baby/toddler. My earlier calendar purchase produced a coupon for $3 in points if I spend $15 so I purchased more toys. When the 3000 in points did not show up (even the manager wasn’t sure why) they were able to just add those points to my card. Came home with 12 toys for about $3 or so each. Wow!

  30. Julie

Isn’t there a way we the consumer can be compensated for stores not displaying correct signage and telling customers they are incorrect about the buy 2 get 2?! Very frustrating-seems there should be consequences for this.

  31. Rebecca

My store didn’t have the signage except with the stuffed animals but everything DID ring up buy 2 get 2 free. I got jumbo dinosaur sets, jumbo construction vehicles, and pony toys. GREAT prices!!

  32. Stephanie

Thank you! Between this and the Michaels clearance crafts kits a bit ago, we are set for the next few months of birthdays/holidays.
