I was two seconds away from buying this yesterday but very hesitant so changed my mind. I have two kids who love to wrestle and play and am so afraid the frame will break or material will get saggy and gross (which is what happened to our current couch after 5 years). Does anyone with rambunctious kids have experience with this couch? Is it easy to spot clean? Thanks!
You get what you pay for. If this even lasted 3-4 years, it’s a great price.
To me the reviews are mixed.. there were alot that claimed that the arm broke off after a couple of weeks .. which sucks because it’s such a good deal and I’m so tempted to get it myself
I’m in the same boat. But with an added dog 🐶 Ultimately, I decided to buy a slipcover for our current mess and save up a bit longer for a higher quality sofa.

We’ve had ours for 6 years with three kids and no pets. We’re very clean in the living room (no food, no outside shoes) but ours got very dingy looking pretty fast. I’ve cleaned it, but microfiber shows water spots very easily and looks terrible unless you soak the whole thing. The cushions in mine are very soft and eventually the fabric gets wrinkly as they get even softer and broken down.
A good tip is to clean microfiber with rubbing alcohol! Put it in a spray bottle and spritz all over, wipe and scrub with a damp sponge or a towel. Put a fan on it to dry and voila! We have this couch with two cats and a 70 lb dog and it has held up surprisingly well through three moves. We have it in brown and enjoy it!
I bought this in June when it was posted. It’s been great. I got the cobblestone color and it’s very neutral and makes our living room look much nicer. The quality is good for the price. I’ve had absolutely no problem with anything breaking even with a rambunctious toddler that likes to jump.
I also shopped through swagbucks when I did my purchase… mine was about $900 because I bought two couches and the chair… but I also got around $100 back in gift cards for shopping though swagbucks. Right now it’s 10 swagbucks for every dollar spent!

You definitely get what you pay for with Ashley furniture. It’s gotten worse over the years too. I had a sofa by them that was decent, but my dog ate it. I replaced it with the same sofa and loveseat and within a year it was very saggy, the frame had broken in the back and it just looked very old to only be a year old. We ended up giving it away and buying furniture from La-Z-Boy.

Watch out! I’ve had a terrible experience with La-z-boy. Our couch caved in the middle. Yes, they can fix, but the labor, you have to pay for. Also, my almost $1000 recliner is falling apart.
I bought one of these for our condo and it’s been great. I think it’s an excellent piece for the price. It’s not as good quality as my $3,000 Ethan Allen sofa but once again you get what you paid for.

This is a good deal. However, the shipping is not free. There’s is an extra delivery charge of $125. I called JCPenney to confirm this

Yeah, no free shipping. It’s $125! Which is over a 25% higher price for the set than what you have listed!
I had the couch in my cart, ready to check out (and oh so excited!)…..but no free shipping. I contacted a customer service rep and was told that free shipping is not offered for furniture since they can’t ship through usps and have to use a 3rd party service.
