    This style of grinder is great for spices. If you spend money to buy good coffee beans, though, you don’t want this kind of grinder — you want a burr grinder. They’re more expensive, but it’s the kind grinder your favorite coffee house surely uses. A burr grinder will grinds the beans in a way that allows for more flavor extraction in the brew as compared to the style linked above.
