Planning to buy a crockpot. Are these any good?

This one is a basic model. Having one that is programmable is worth it in my opinion. With the programmable ones once it has cooked for the time you set it switches to warm so your food doesn’t over cook. With this one you would have to manually switch it. If you plan on using it when your not home the programmable one is the way to cook.

Target has a similar one (brand) but that’s programmable for $29.99. I think it’s worth the little extra for that feature!

    Is this a larger crockpot?

    • Mary Kelley

      Yes.

I have an 8 quart so I would say this is an average size

I had this one and temperature settings went crazy after only a few uses. It burned everything. I called them and they agreed it was definitely messed up but said it was over a year since I bought it, even though only used it 4-5 times, they wouldn’t replace it or offer a discount on a new one.

DARN!! So sorry to hear about that 🙁

This is a great crockpot! I had this one until I upgraded to the 7qt… This one is large enough to cook 2 pounds of pintos or a smaller pork roast

Thanks for the feedback Tammy! Glad to hear you were pleased with this one!
