What smells good?
A couple of my faves are Fresh Balsam and Marshmallow Fireside! My advice to you, get as many candles as you want at this price-even if you think you won’t like the scents, because you can go in the store when it’s much less crowded and even exchange your candles for fragrances you love. You will already be locked into the price. 😊
Our BBW is in an old, very empty mall. But today, the whole city was in there. Took 10 minutes to check out. They kept saying that special scents had run out. But, the stores was still full to the brim with candles. 😂
10 minutes is nothing!! I purposely went to the BBW in a strip mall in the “not as nice” part of town, and I waited in line for 45 minutes
I got in and out twice and only waited 10 min in line. It was worth it-I got nine candles and two holders for $6.45 each with two separate mailers. I’m stocked for 6+ months🤗
I had no idea the holders were on sale until the associate ringing me out told the lady next to me. I wish I would have known!! 😢

My store open hours early and at 8 it was crazy workers said they didn’t find out to late last night they would open and I missed out on some of my scents I hate online will not let you use coupons
You can always come back and exchange for different scents when the store is less crazy

Bath & Body Works stopped giving out coupons with purchase (called “bounce back coupons”) last Christmas. They brought it back for a limited time in October, but aren’t planing on making it a regular thing. (I’m a manager at one)
I got five candles in total including two aromatherapy candles for the price of one with my free aroma therapy item for any aromatherapy purchase coupon and was able to stack it with $10 off $30!

Bath & Body Works gives a 3-day grace period on all paper coupons. So, you can use it 3 days before it is valid or 3 days after it expires.

I went to BBW early this morning. I had to wait in line a bit, but it was so worth it.
For all those who do not have the 10 off 30, you could ask them at the register and they have a coupon that would scan for you. The cashiers were so helpful today. I was able to snag 4 candles w the deal mentioned and also a aromatherapy lotion for free w the free item coupon I had saved.
I made friends with the people in front of me in line during our 45 minute wait and they offered me an extra one of their $10 off $30 coupons

All things considered…1 hour wait to check out 😳 My cashier let me do 2 transactions so I could use all of my coupons. 8 candles, 5 pocket sanitizers, a mini bath soap, and a men’s body lotion for $56. It’s a good day for H2Saving!!
I decided to brave the store around lunch time, I figured everyone at the mall would be eating. That was a great decision! Line was maybe 10 minutes long and I got 8 different candles and 2 candle holders, saved a bundle with my in mail coupons. I love this sale every year, I have waited over an hour in line before, so this year was so nice to be so easy breezy!!
I had a $15 off $40 & $10 off 30 – 9 candles for at less than $60.

They had the $2.95 soap sale 2 weeks ago. That’s the sale I wait for each year to stock up for the whole year.
I also got the candles today too. 13 candles, 1 bath fizzy (free), 2 candle holders (1 free), travel size lotion (free) and a $5 lotion. I did 4 transactions with my coupons and spent about $80. Last week at Kroger I bought $100 worth of bath and bodyworks gift cards for $80 with their promotion to get extra savings.
All in all my shopping trip was great. I have an outlet store about 30 mins away I shop at, I avoid the mall at all costs. I was in and out when they opened at 9am. No line, maybe 12 people total in the store. I’m sure it will heat up later this afternoon since online is selling out. They started with over 200 candle types available and last time I checked they only had 62 left.

I guess I’m in the minority here but I don’t care for these candles. Which is a shame because I really enjoy some of their various body products. I bought these several years back and despite smelling good when I sniffed the jar the scent while burning was very off putting.
The quality has gone down for these in the past few years. Yankee candle as well. I don’t like that they have mostly Christmas scents. I prefer spring or summer candles, I hate the smell of cinnamon or sugary stuff.
You can still get the candles at this price and even exchange them when the fragrances you like come in. At least you will be locked into the price. 😊

They were giving them out a couple of months ago until they ran out with purchase. Some of the other coupons get malied to you. Put yourself on their mail list and when you buy things you get coupons mailed to you.
Not sure if this is true but this is what I was told and seems to have worked for me. Maybe a few months ago they updated their system and they were asking for a phone numbers and I used my home phone number and I have been getting coupons in the mail I have received at least 3 sets in the last 2 months. So if that ask for your number give the your landline home number if you have one.
Line was super long at our stores but customers are happy to wait in line and holiday atmosphere inside. Happy to get my candles with my coupons
Ah man! Just realized that’s today. My mall is pretty popular and the B&BW store is fairly big. Not sure if I want to brave the store now or wait until later this evening.

Had the mailers coupon but in years pass they would hand out 10 off 30 coupon when you purchased something even day of the candle sale or make it available online. First year, they had no coupons to hand out…went to multiple stores

I was in and out pretty quick. Bought 5 candles and a sleeve. Total 29.75 with the $15.00 off $40.00 and the free item coupon. Not bad but was a bit disappointed they don’t carry a lot of the colored candles in stock for this sale. I know the color doesn’t make any difference with the smell I just think they’re prettier. But a great deal at $5.95 each.
If you received the mailer with the free item up to $13.50 value with $10 purchase then you can also use that coupon to snag another candle. I used mine for one.

Most stores will not let you use the free item coupon on another candle because the item has to be less than $13.50 regular price.
Our store wouldn’t allow that because the regular price of the item is way more than $13.50.
The line in my local store was NUTS, completely went outside the store and around the building. I took one look, turned around, went home, and GLADLY laid down $5.99 for shipping 😂 I did have a cranky toddler with me so that may have added to my decision! A lady who I chatted with that had a B&BW bag while we waited for the elevator said she waited in line probably and hour and 20 minutes!!!

I learned my lesson last year when I only bought 5. 😁 Our store was absolutely nuts but I just wear my big girl pants & “deal with it” this time of year…everyone was friendly and there were plenty of candles to choose from! Where is you sign up to get the mailer coupons?
Maryann, I signed up to receive email marketing from BBW directly in the store with a cashier a year or two ago; maybe longer. I know that you can sign-up for emails online now as well. They don’t specifically tell you that by doing so you will definitely get mailer coupons, but they do ask you each time you check out in the store “if your email is correct” and I am pretty certain that they are using that to track your purchases/frequency which probably plays a big part in whether or not they mail you any additional discounts or “please come shop” offers. Got in and got 15 candles and 3 pair of aloe infused socks for $93 and change so around $6.20 a candle. They had plenty of staff and they were very helpful. Checking out only took 10 minutes once I was ready. Just wish they had the bags like last year. We had to ask that they take the 6 packs to the register because I was with a child who could not hold that many.
I would have bought more, but i only had 1 coupon. I buy according to my coupon availability. I shopped most of the sales and now i am completely coupon-less. 😑
Love their candles – couldn’t go myself so i gave 3 mailers that , i got along with my free item , i but never get emailers my daughter gets them at her house and she gives them to me , and my husband who never shops gets them , love this only buy candles and hand soap , thank you
I was completely disappointed to not have coupons to use. I used to get them Ithe mail, but it’s been a long time. I inquired about it once and they put me back in their system. I got one or two mailings and it’s probably been 6 months since the last one came. I think I was the only one in the store without coupons. Used the old 20% email instead. Better than nothing.
I am not certain but I believe that once they discontinued the “bounce back” coupons last December (the ones they always used to put in your bag with your receipt after a purchase) they have moved to a “frequent customer incentive” program. I am pretty sure they are tracking how frequently you (and I) shop in the store and send out marketing accordingly; because they always as me at check out “if my email is correct” or if I have “given them an email to associate with my purchase.” Lots of people decline that question in the store and I think that is why a lot of people on the BBW posts are mentioning that they aren’t receiving coupons. Just my two cents!
Store was crazy today…. After experiencing holding 8 candles in my arms in line I think I would just pay the 6 bucks shipping but I had other things to do at the mall today. Tis the Season is really great smelling and the employee did say it’s the most popular scent this season.
I went to my store at 1 before work. Store was crazy busy.. luckily i get their candles all the time and I looked online before hand so I knew exactly what candles I wanted. There was a ton left in stock. Waited in like for about 15-20 minutes so not terrible. The only thing I was irritated about was they wouldn’t let me use my free item coupon for the candle sleeve. I know the original price is more then the allotted $13.50, but they were on sale today and I know for a fact I’ve used it on sale items. (I used it on a candle one time) I didn’t want to make a fuss because it was so busy and didn’t want to make other customers mad. So I just had her grab me a men’s body wash that was behind the counter.
Also FYI: They said they are NO longer accepting Retail Me Not coupons. Not sure if it’s nationwide or just my store.

No clue where I went wrong but mine came out to be 7.48 a candle got 6 candles a sleeve and mini lotion all with coupons and ended up 46 or 48 after taxes! But was still happy got the last 3 coffee and some hot cocoa ones! They would wrap 2 candles for me but no big deal it is I got bags for Home

For some reason I didn’t get the mailed coupons, but I had an e-mail for 20% off my entire purchase that “expired” yesterday (12/1) but they honored the coupon. Got 9 candles for $7.16 each. Not as good at the 10 off 30, but something off is better than nothing!
How do they sell out online? Geez. Have to wait until next year I guess. Closest store to me is 45 mins away:(

Online they only allow one code and since the candle deal requires a code, you cannot use more. I’m sorry.
