I’ve often thought about getting one of these faucets but 3 minutes seems like a lot of wasted water.
You can just wave and shut it off as soon as you’re done. You don’t have to wait for it to time out.
I thought so too but If you read the description it says that you can pull down on the faucet head to turn it off.
That also turns it off, but that is not the only way to turn it off.
It’s only on for three minutes if it doesn’t get turned off or is accidentally turned on. Otherwise you turn it on and off like you normally would a faucet. I have this faucet and so far it is great!
I bought this last year in brushed nickel and love it!

This faucet is AMAZING! Bought off Amazon during lightning deal, and I adore it. Super intuitive to use. Shuts off after 3 min, or as soon as you wave past the motion sensor a second time. I love that it turns on automatically when you pull down the sprayer end, and shuts back off automatically when you return it to normal position. Totally worth $125!!

We had one of these for a few this summer. It sounds nice, and is a good idea, but I found it annoying. Sometimes the water just turned itself on and off. Also, if the batteries die- no water until you replace them. Between calling customer service and having to make an emergency battery run- this thing was too high maintenance!
My thoughts on this exactly! We bought a house that has one of these installed and I can’t stand it. The battery issue is so frustrating! Luckily, we use rechargeable batteries so I’m not running out to buy batteries all the time. I’m just waiting for something to happen to it so we can replace it.
You can turn the motion sensor option off and use the faucet normally without batteries installed. I believe it is a setting you turn on somewhere around the battery box.
I own one of these and I love it! Worth the price and it works wonderful! No problems here!
