I bought one of these on Black Friday and haven’t been very impressed. It doesn’t put out as much scent as my Glade or Febreze ones. Im curious what others’ experiences with these have been. Did I just get a dud?

    • maria

It could be the scent, some aren’t very strong. Plus, they don’t ever last 30 days. Did you check the holder to see if it’s warm? Maybe that’s not working.

    • Suszy

You must have gotten a bad one because all of the ones I have ever used make my house smell awesome šŸ˜

    • Latoya

Iā€™m not impressed with them either. I can smell the scent but itā€™s very faint. I thought maybe I was just used to the scent now but I asked a guest and they could barely smell it too. The plugins get very hot to the touch also. That made me nervous so I stopped using them.

      • brenda

I noticed about them getting hot also. Sometimes I plug it in for just a little while but dont like to leave it when I’m not home. I went to the store this morning and the selection of plug ins was very minimal. First time I ever left BBW and bought nothing.

    • April

I’m not impressed either. There is hardly any scent from these. I’ve tried multiple scents and even with my bathroom door closed I can barely smell anything when I walk in. I bought a glade one for my daughters room and it works so much better.

    • Meghan

It also depends on the outlet – try a different outlet and it may be stronger. We have fresh balsam which is quite strong.

  2. Stac

Mine are awesome! Much better than glade. I actually bought more today for that reason!

    • Jaala

What are the best smells in your opinion that smell up your house and last?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for the feedback!

  3. Carolyn

I have found Elaine that some work better than others. Plus, I think the plug ins go bad after a while. As expensive as they are you would think they would last a long time, but unfortunately they don’t.

    • Katelyn

I agree that the plug ins seem to go bad. Are there any other brands of plugins that the BBW refils can be used in?

  4. k terry

The plug ins are $2.95 in my local store.

  5. MsRG

I love the smells. The plug ins do go bad, but they know that so you can take them back to the store, no receipt, and they will replace them!!! I took 2 back after they were years old. No hassle.

    • Julie

Really – I mentioned to a store clerk one time that mine had seemed to stop working. She didn’t say a thing about bringing back. I’ll try it now.

    • Kat

I was just going to post this. Iā€™ve been able to replace a few so itā€™s definitely worth taking them back.

    • BlueHarvest

    • jamie

Wondering the same thing! Would make for a great deal…

  9. Kristen

I loveeeee these! I used my 15 off 40 coupon and free item coupon and got lotion and 17 plug ins šŸ˜± For $36 šŸ’–

  10. Kim

I love these too, I like them far better than Febreeze or Glade.

  11. Christen

Does anyone have a Wayfair.com coupon? I have free $25 off $25 Shutterfly coupon to trade.

  12. Courtney Kaufmann Hogan

Is 2.04 for the wallflowers a good price or do they go cheaper? I feel like last year I bought them and then right after I bought them they went to like a dollar something a piece. Thanks all

  13. *Angela-Miles*

I’m not very happy!!!! They wouldn’t let me use my free item coupon that came with the 15 off 40 in the mail. I spent $30 but she said I had to buy another purchase to use that one. I was pissed. I checked out to get away from her and then asked the woman at the door if she could redue my purchase with a free item and showed her the coupon, she said no not now. I’m writing corporate, I’m so tired of these retail places hiring 16 year olds that have no clue what the rules are and giving me hassle. Bout to just start quit shopping there. Went out in the snow for a crappy experience

    • Gritzi

The coupons can be used together, as long as the criteria is met for each. The free item up to $13.50 (reg price) is valid with a $10 purchase. An additional $20 must be purchased to receive $5 off OR an additional $30 must be spent to use the $10 off $30 OR an additional $40 must be spent to apply the $15 off $40.
The sales associate was correct w/your purchase. If needed to spend a total of $50 for the free item (w/$10 purchase) PLUS the $15 off $40 coupon.

  14. KelBen

I was able to get 6 of these

  15. Kristy

You have to be 18 to work at BBW. Maybe you didn’t meet the coupon requirements. Sorry you had a bad experience but the cashier could of just been doing her job.

  17. *Angela-Miles*

I ended up stopping at another store where my sister lives since she wanted me to get my niece and I was out. The lady at that store , looked at my receipt and the coupon I had… said that there wasn’t a reason I shouldnt have been able to use it.(unless I was trying to use it for a candle, an I wasn’t) . She said the best way to do it would be for me to pick out an item I wanted and she would just override the purchase and charge me zero. Worked for me whatever she did šŸ™‚

    • gritzi

@angela-Miles, the first associate was correct w/your coupon.
