Santa brought the BB8 version to us last year, we ended up exchanging it twice and then getting a refund. It wouldn’t stay linked to our iPads or phones and once the link breaks (kid loses interest for a month, etc.) you can’t link it back up again. We wanted it to work so badly too because it is super cool…

      Good to know!

Our soon-to-be 8 year old son received the BB-8 droid last year for Christmas and he loved it! We’ve not noticed any issues with pairing the droid with our phones. He also bought the force band at a later date and has not had issues pairing it either. We bought the BB-9E this year to go along with it. He and his brother are going to have so much fun! I’m sure they would love the R2-D2 droid, also.

This is the only thing my son has asked for! I ran to the store as the bb8 was sold out online; grabbed the last one! Price matched to Walmart (saved $2 😂) used the $25 off and got the free force band! I had previously bought the bb8; but got a better deal today and got the force band to go with it!
