I ❤️ This post!!
😍
I’m Paleo and can use a lot of these tips—thank you! On a side-note, try sticking bacon in a 400 degree oven on a foil-lined baking sheet. Crisps-up nicely & is no-fuss. 🙂
A little OT, but aluminum foil is very dangerous and harmful to cook with
Huh? Since when??
Since a while now. I use Parchment paper, way better because you wont accidentally poke holes in it and get grease all over the pan.
You can also give homemade goodies: paleo ‘granola’ bars or almond flour cookies / crackers with herbs and parmesan. Yumm
I use the oven too. So much easier for a large crowd.
How is it dangerous and harmful?
I’ve cooked my bacon in the oven for years and won’t do it any other way! I put mine on my pampered chef baking stones (long pan with short side). Comes out perfectly!
Thank you, have a keto eating colleague and was looking for suggestions
You are welcome!
Those Dang coconut chips are my favorite. I recommend the Ninja spiralizer it’s awesome. Thanks for a keto post 😊
You are welcome!
You bet! 🙂 And I agree, I’m totally obsessed with the Dang coconut chips! They are SO good and SO addicting.
OMG I want your bacon shirt . Where did you get ?
Me too! Love the shirt! Where can I get it?
Thanks! I purchased the top from Cents of Style a while back. However, I did just check and it doesn’t appear they sell this design anymore.
There are some options on Amazon – not the same, but still cute!

I’m a keto dieter, and I highly approve these gifts!
I just started a keto lifestyle…so thank you for this post. It may give my husband a few ideas! I love your “Don’t Go Bacon My Heart” shirt….where did you get it?
Hi Jennifer,
I purchased from Cents of Style a while back. They don’t sell this top anymore… however, Amazon has some options here – http://amzn.to/2CfxzXn
Hope that helps!
I normally hate jello, but while we’re doing keto my husband and I love sugar-free jello with full fat whipped cream. That is such a good treat 😋
YES!! We indulge in that too, and you can’t beat full fat whipped cream! 😋
I’m going to have to say it but Quest bars are anything but delicious:(
A few years ago they were amazing…but they changed something in them and they have the strangest aftertaste now. I used to buy in bulk and won’t touch them now:(
Totally agree! Used to luv them now they are horrible.
Great ideas!!
Those gummi bear reviews are HILARIOUS!!
I know… I look at them whenever I’m having a bad day. 😂
Those gummy bear reviews are hilarious…. but in all honesty, it sounds like they should be banned by the FDA. Seriously, they sound poisonous. Why would you recommend them at all?
Hi Laura,
Most sugar free candies can have a laxative effect. I think part of the problem is that candy, well – tastes really good, so people often over-consume and eat much more than the recommended amount… which can then make for some not so nice side effects.
Wow! Thanks for this post. I had no idea about this kind of diet. However, my husband is diabetic, and the doc told him to cut out starch. So thanks for the info especially on the Moon Chips, and cookbooks. I will look into those.
You are welcome!
Well this diet would be horrible for me! Crohns Diease and one kidney I would be dead in 2 months! 😳
You would be surprised… I’d actually recommend into it… It can seriously heal bowel issues and it also great for the kidneys!
Then you should stick to the diet your dr suggests
Great suggestions! I have been doing this diet for the last year and have managed to lose almost all of the extra “baby weight” so it does work! I love the moon cheese and always keep that and jerky in my purse to snack on.
A note for those on this diet, please keep in mind that xanthan gum and most sugar free sweeteners are toxic to dogs. They’ll eat anything they can get their paws on and its often tempting to give their little, sad begging selves the leftovers but if you’re cooking with these things you could unknowingly end up poisoning them. Heck, those gummy bears sound poisonous to people. Reminds me of the olean Doritos from several years ago, lol.
Although I don’t eat bacon often due to nitrates, That’s a genius way to cook bacon!!
If you have a Costco in your area, they have bacon with no nitrates or nitrites added. It’s Farmers Hickory Brand Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon and you may want to check and see if it’s sold other places. Thick sliced, no antibiotics, no added hormones, no preservatives or MSG, gluten free.
Bacon in an air fryer is great too.
Love these suggestions! Thanks. Always nice to find things to enhance my keto life style. For the person that doesn’t eat bacon. Shop at Aldi. They have the ” Never Any” products that have no nitrates, or no steroid products. Even sold hams before thanksgiving. Great prices. Bacon here in Florida store was $5.50 for 12 ounces. Also all sugar free products cause me gastro intestinal problems to some degree!
Those gummy bears made my night! I’ve been laughing/crying for the last hour reading the reviews. Poor people!
Love!!!
7 out of 14 things on this list are NOT keto friendly. Stevie drops, coconut chips, Russell stover chocolates, gummy bears, turkey sticks either have sugar or full of chemicals, and the ketone strip are just a waste of money. Do your research before promoting garbage to people!
I was thinking the same thing about some of these. I know they say “sugar free” but there are still fake sugars that increase your blood sugar levels. Definitely read labels and educate yourself about different types of sugar substitutes.
Thank YOU Standing Bear! I cringed when I saw the sugar free chocolates!!!! They will so kick you out of Keto. NOTE: sugar free does NoT = Keto friendly. Maybe for low carb lifestyles but, that’s simply not what Keto is about. I really hope they take the time to do some more research and retract some of these recommendations. They’re plain uninformed and irresponsible.
Thank you for this post. I ❤️ all your Keto posts and look forward to them. I started only 3 months ago so it is very new to me. I do it conjunction with a low FODMAP diet because of severe GI issues. I was doubled over hurting all the time. I had a full work-up at the specialist, was treated for SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) and started on a low FODMAP diet. I felt good for a while but the SIBO came back since I was still feeding the bacteria with sugar and carbs. Dr. re-treated the SIBO and I started on a Keto diet. No sugar and low carbs means the bacteria shouldn’t regrow. I feel great all the time now (for the first time in years) and I’ve lost 16 pounds in 3 months. The post you had on the chocolate peanut butter fat bomb recipe is the post that made me realize I could do this! I eat all sorts of great food and no longer crave sugar. I do still need to expand my recipe base though which is why I ❤️ your posts! Thanks again!
Everything on this list sounds awesome!! (Well, not the gummies but I don’t like them even with sugar!! ) I am printing out copies of this and leaving them all over the house in hopes that my family will pick up on my not so subtle hint!!
Where did you get the little three compartment server?
I love this post, another nice gift is a small frother. Amazon has them as low as 10.00.So much easier than any blender and less cleanup. And molds for making fat bombs too.
