Thanks for the reminder! We live in a small city so it was a quick 5-10 minute drive to the mall, $5 gift card but was fun to do. I was impressed the store manager was handing them out and thanking everyone for visiting this morning – upped my impression of our local Herberger’s!
Gee, I already have a pile of $10 off $10 coupons that I have never been able to find anything in the store I could use them on. Apparently many others can’t either as you can find these coupons lying all over the store. I have asked cashiers what I could buy with the coupons and they just shrug. One year a cashier told me men’s belts. Well I don’t have any men in my life. I wish they would quit putting out that coupon because it just makes me and many others angry.
You were right Ann. Last time we have a lots of coupons. We were really excitement and spent 2 hours to look for clothing, kitchenware…., Because we tried to use all coupons with different amount so we take all the stuffs that we want to use with that. When we went to check out all coupons did not work like we thought. For example: the coupon said. ” $40 off $100 clothes “. We had some shirt, pans..total $100.( not Brand name). But the coupons didn’t scan. Another coupons said $10 off $30. We had 3 microwave bowls sale $12.99/set…The coupon didn’t scan, and lots more. The cashier said in order to use this coupon you have to buy this, can’t buy that. and this coupon you have buy this, can’t buy that. Finally we could;n buy anything because the coupons useless. Without coupons the prices way to expensive . So just wasted our time. Now they still sent us the coupons but we are not even look because we are sure we can not use those coupons. This was happen to my friends to. They couldn’t buy anything. They said they never go to Bon-Ton again and they still get the coupons as well. This make us to recycling the junk papers.
I stopped in the store today and received a $10 gift card. 😀 I was able to purchase a 40.00 sweatshirt for $4.00 OOP.
