  3. Christin

Is this for take out only?

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

Hi Christin! Yes, this is for take out only. You can order online or call in and place your order to pickup. I hope this helps!

  4. Cara

Oh, I was looking for a code earlier when I ordered. This just gives me an excuse to go back to Red Robin, LOL. Thank you so much!!

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

Please don’t forget to add at least 10% gratuity to curbside orders. Most restaurants require the wait staff inside to take time away from their tables to bag the take-up orders and run them out to the car…. the federal minimum wage for servers is just $2.13 per hour, so they’re really relying on those tips. You don’t need to tip the usual 20% for table service, but they really do deserve some gratuity for curb-side service. Servers I’ve talked to say 10% has become standard, and much appreciated.

    • Andrea

And always tip on the total amount before the discount.

      • Chris

Always tip on the pre-discount amount but never on tax.

    • Lexy

Unless you go to my restaurant I always mark curbside but they don’t actually take it out I have to get off my car and pick it up from the bar

    • Ihearthip

Thanks for this tip! Unfortunately I have not thought of that. I will look at it differently now.

Does anyone know if the servers at Red Robin bring the food to your car? It would be great to not have to bring my kids into the restaurant with me if I don’t have to!

      • Heather

        You have to go in.

    • Lolo

STANDAND 20%?? When did that become the standanrd?

      • ana

        depends on the service

      • Joey

I thought it was 15%. It’s funny I keep getting people that do not know math. I was at walmart and the guy could not figure 50% off $6. He kept saying it was $3.50. I told him it was $3 and he rang it up $2.50. I wonder what he would tip lol.

    • Ang

I havent tipped the last couple times because they keep messing up my orders in different ways.

  6. T

I always go inside to get mine.

    • anna

Me too. It just feels strange to make someone bring it outside. Especially if they are busy and/or it’s raining.

  7. Jessie

Not all states pay wait staff the federal minimum wage. California requires restaurants pay staff the state minimum wage which is currently just over $10 an hour.

  8. DJ

No more kids meals in my house. I treasured the days when kids ate free or really inexpensive. Happy eating!!!

  9. Hubert

I’m impressed, I must say. Really not often do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your thought is excellent; the issue is something that not sufficient people are talking intelligently about. I’m very joyful that I stumbled throughout this in my search for something regarding this.
