Did any of you know sears return/exchange policy? I never knew that you cant return or exchange in sears without a receipt. Went today to exchange a pair of pants that were a gift, and I didn’t have the receipt. She said I can’t exchange without receipt, I told them then you don’t have my busniess, I left the stuff I wanted to buy. That’s the worst policy I ever heard
Go again on a different shift. I can’t believe that is their policy. I know they hemorrhage money but that’s insane. It’s just over a week after Christmas. It’s perfectly plausible you have an item you got as a gift tou don’t want and don’t have the receipt for. Return before shopping too.
Wait until you use points on your purchased, even you have receipt, you will have problem, not that many people know how to do it.
I never shop at sears but I got a pair of pants as a gift that don’t fit my boy, and wanted to exchange them to something else, and I was shocked that’s their policy
Yes I had this problem too. They asked if I knew the phone number of the person who gave the gift. I did and they put it in. They had a shop your way account so they could see the receipt. They had paid cash so they gave me cash back.
they do no receipt return but sears is really painful when it comes to exchange or return. Employees usually do not know anything….
