    • Paul

I got them, also. I am happy for the (3) $5.99 any footlong and (3) $2.99 any 6 inch coupons. I, only, buy the steak and cheese, usually the footlong, and those are more expensive than most of the other sandwiches.

      • j

mine only had one 2.99 coupon 🙁 had other ones though

I saw that, but mine was only for 6 inch purchase 🙁

Great offer! Thanks for the heads up Karen!

  7. Myrah

Just an FYI to those who eat subway a lot. Make sure you get a rewards card with them. Each dollar equals a point. After 75 points you get a free food long. There are other things you can get for free but I personally only get the foot longs.

    • Joan

Hi Myrah, I live in CA and I’ve never heard of a rewards card program with them. I don’t see it on their website either. Maybe this is just in the state where you live? Thanks.

      • Kristen

Hi Joan….try going to the Subway website and in the upper right corner, there should be a link to click “Subway Card”. Or you can go direct to mysubwaycard.com. Hopefully that works for you in CA? The rewards are definitely worth it, if the offer’s available in your state too. 🙂

        • Sofia

I just checked it out. It said it was in select markets only. I put in my zip code ( I live in a suburb outside of LA) but they said there were no restaurants within 20 miles that were participating in the program 🙁

          • Gail

Yeah it’s not everywhere, my husband has a card and hardly can use it anywhere when he works out of town because no one accepts it.

    • Mommyof5

Thanks for sharing Myrah. My husband eating subway a lot. Need to look into that reward card.

    • *Angela-Miles*

Yes, their reward program is great. Haven’t cashed my points in, but I have a ton!! 🙂

  11. Judy Trac

My stores are always giving dirty looks when u use coupons

  12. FSUGAL

Even with a coupon or special pricing, I have decided to get my sub sandwiches elsewhere. Everytime I get a sub from Subway, the employees count out the number of meat slices and cheese as they make the subs. These subs never look as plentiful as they are advertised, and I am not going to pay good money for 3 or 4 pieces of thin meat slices and 4 half pieces of cheese when I can get a subway sandwich from competitors who slice their meats & cheeses fresh and don’t skimp on content.

    • LeeLee

They do skimp out on meat. I don’t know if it is just me, but the width of their bread seems a bit shorter. Probably to make the whole sandwich look thicker with less meat. When I order a flatbread, which is wider in width, they put more meat.

  13. Priscilla Adkins

I love your rings too – where did you get those??

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Aren’t they so cute! They are actually from the Subway Instagram page. So we are not sure how to grab those.

  14. Harm

There are formulas used for any restraunt. Subway is no different. In order to survive all restraunts must maintain a certain percentage of food cost. Subway always offers the best deals. No other franchise offers the same kinds of discounts and sooo many of them. So you know where to go if you want the best deal for your money. Those “other” restraunts have the same types of constraints. If they give you more they also charge you more. Happy Sandwiching….

    • Jacob

Yes… but they used to be a much better value! I love to go to jimmy Johns who has great sandwiches also!!

      • JO

The owner of Jimmy John’s is a trophy hunter. I stopped going there because of it.

        • anna

That is good to know 🙁 won’t support that kind of cowardly hunting for anything.
I read an article from one of the subway franchise owners and apparently this pricing is hurting his business.
The cost for the ingredients for the sandwich is $2.00 and then labor and lights and rent it makes it tough. He said they may have to close some stores because of it. In the franchise agreement they pay to be a part of it and then they have certain pricing and restrictions that they may not waiver from. Don’t know if that matters but if it does you may want to check it out.

  15. Tricia Russell

I read an article in December about the franchise owners who were very upset over this promotion. They claim they will not be able to stay in business when Subway cuts the prices so low. Their margin of profit is less than a dollar after all the costs are factored in..
    A quote:
“A group of franchise owners aren’t optimistic. They believe that the promotion, which does not include any reimbursement for the store owners, will cut into their already razor-thin margins and about 400 of them have signed a petition protesting the deal.”

    • Amy

Yes, I read this as well. These promotions are hurting the franchised loactions. The bottom line is, Subway is hurting sales-wise. They need promotions to get people in the door. I personally haven’t ate at one in years, I can make my own skimpy sandwich and chips meal at home.

  16. acgold

If you have a QuickChek near you, their subs are so much better and a better deal!

  17. Susan B

My daughter and I split a sub last night and I didn’t know why it was only five dollars ! Now I know 👍

  18. Stephanie

I live in Florida and I LOVE Publix subs from their deli!!!! Best turkey sub ever!!!!! I have to admit I’m a jersey girl though and if you want the best “hoagie” then head to jersey mikes!!! 😛
