I loved teddy ruxpin when I was a child. All those cassette tapes and outfits you could get for him. 80s and 90s toys were the best!

My 2 year old got this for christmas. It’s pretty terrible and I honestly feel guilty that the person who got it for him spent so much money on it. My son barely uses it because his eyes are “scary.” He puts the included mask on him so it covers his eyes but still doesn’t like sleeping with it and tried giving it away to his older brother. Also, it only comes with 3 stories and the voices of grubby and teddy are extremely annoying. The stories and songs are really weird in my opinion. My husband tried dowloading the app to get more stories and pair it with blu tooth but it doesn’t work and the app is completely useless. We’ve also had a couple instances where the bear will randomly start making static noises like its broken so we have to shut it off and turn it back on again. In short, completely worthless toy and can’t find anything positive to say about it except that I’m so glad I didn’t waste my own money on it. It’ll most likely be going in the donation box at the end of the year.

Just for another opinion…my three year old got it for Christmas and she loves him 🙂 The iPad app works great for us as well. It did take her about a day to warm up to him though. I wish I would
    have paid this price instead!

      Thanks for your feedback, Jen!
