I’ve been going nuts researching air fryers! I was given one as an xmas gift but it was only 1Liter and super small but I LOVED it. So I returned it and now I cannot decide what to buy! I had to take store credit at Target for it and Target has a small selection!

I was able to score a Toastmaster 2.5L Air Fryer from my local grocery store this weekend for $40. It was in their Christmas clearance section and was 1/2 price. I mention that because I never would have thought to look at my grocery store for a small appliance, but since it was in their Christmas gift merchandise, it was on clearance. I did a quick search on my phone for a comparable price, and I didn’t find it anywhere for less than $90. $40 seemed like a steal!

      How is the 2.5 size?

      • Jacque

I think it’s a good size. So far, I’ve only made chicken strips in it, but they turned out crispier than if I had just baked them, and still really juicy inside! My boys all liked how they turned out. I could easily throw in a bag of frozen fries or tots and have them done to a crisp.

Cool! What grocery store had the sale?

BF had soem good deal with similar fryers, i guess they are clearing up the same stock so quality may not be good.
