We got some of the mini ones for Christmas. My daughter has been loving them, but they do cause a bit of static. They also work great on doll hair!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s great to know that they work well for dolls! Thanks for sharing!

My 4yo has super thin curly (like crazy curly) hair and this is the only thing I can use for him. They are the best!

I bought a full size one of these and it was the worst brush I have tried on my daughters thick, curly hair. I was waiting for a sale to try, but was so disappointed. I know it varies person to person, but with all the positive comments, I was surprised at how awful it was. (Yes, I actually got a name brand wet brush, not a generic one.)

    • LS

The same here. It was horrible for my daughter and I. It was so flimsy and just didn’t work. Glad it worked for others tho.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t work well for y’all. Thanks for sharing your feedback!

I’m a licensed cosmetologist for 35 years I use the wet brand brush never had a problem with it. Have you tried spray on conditioner or a dime size of conditioner on her towel dried hair than use the brush that should work : )

My daughter and I both have thick hair and the regular wet brush works great if you take the extra time to brush through “thin” sections of hair at a time. My daughter had a delicate scalp and other brushes always hurt too much. They also make a “thick hair” wet brush now. It isn’t quite as soft on her scalp, but still ten times better than any other brush she’s tried. She uses the thick hair wet brush when she brushes her hair on her own and she gets out all the tangles. I think the wet brush is a fairly universal brush, but how you brush your hair with it may depend on what type of hair you have. We love these brushes!

We love the wet brush, I recommend it to all my friends with little girls. It works great on my daughter’s thin hair. The handle broke so I bought a new one from Kohl’s. Weird but the words wore off right away and the handle is constantly sticky. I have no idea why. Still works well.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Good to know how well it has worked for your daughter’s hair!

  9. M

Where in the store do you find these?

    • Laura

I found mine in the beauty section.

    • Lori

My store had tons in purse/accessories area.

My daughter picked out this brush purely because it was pink and it was “her size.” She’s 4. Now it is our favorite brush. We both don’t have particularly thick or thin hair, but my daughter’s hair is long. It just doesn’t seem to get caught nearly as much as our other brushes and makes brushing out hair a much easier process. Despite it’s little size, it is really comfortable to hold and has held up well. Our Kohl’s has them in the front of the store with the gift card display near the register.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing where you spotted them in your store Debs!

  11. Alyssa

My daughter has thick wavy hair, it does take a little longer to brush than with a normal brush so I can see why some would think it is flimsy, you have to take small sections.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful tip Alyssa!

  12. Nicole

LOVE this brush. I have two, because I couldn’t find mine and rather than use a different brush, I went out and got another one. I have long hair and it’s pretty thick so it does tangle really easily. I hated having to brush it out of the shower because it would be so painful and this has made it SO easy to brush. Def recommend!

  13. Dee

Tj maxx has ton of these brushes for $3.50.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up Dee!

  14. Kim

People who don’t like them may be using them on dry hair. My daughter has very long spiral curls that mats easily. You have to section and start at the bottom but it snags much less and it goes quicker. I still hold her hair like a ponytail until I get to the scalp, just in case it pulls a bit.

  15. Amy

Wet Brush has been a God-send for my fine, 40-something, falling-out hair. It’s all I use.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Happy this has worked so well on your hair Amy! Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

  16. RDH Mom

We LOVE this brush! A relationship changer for my daughter and I. We are both blessed with long, straight, thick hair and it works amazing. She used to cry and we used to fight every time she needed to brush her hair. Not the case with this brush. She loves it. I bought one for my mom and sisters because it made such a difference for us! My daughter tells everyone about her wet brush. Thank you for posting this deal.

    • cheapcheapgoesthemommy

I love your comment on this RDH Mom…yes that old “tug of war” game with my daughter’s hair has caused some major cat fights! God Bless the Mommies!

    • SusyShmoosy

Yes, definitely a game changer with my three girls! They will let me brush their hair without fighting! However they all have such long thick hair that I have to go through it again with a regular brush to actually remove the knots. I’ve found that the wet brush pushes the knots to the bottom and then I have to straighten them out from there. But still, way, way easier by far!

  17. Taylor

From a hairstylist I will say this is one of my holy grail items out of everything I use one every single day with every single client they’re great

  18. Holli

My fav brush of all times I have a few of them.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s great to know how much you like them! Thanks for sharing your feedback, Holli!
