I would not recommend a Genie product. Our Genie garage door opener was less than 5 years old when it broke. And we did not use it hard, some days not at all. The part that drives the door up and down, broke. It was made of plastic!! It was made to not last. Old Genies maybe, but not the ones they are making now.
