I’m a runner and I have to say I have seen people drop these so many times. I’m in Oregon and it rains a lot so they must get slippery. Every time the dog has been big, so it might be fine with small dogs.
Please don’t use these they are dangerous and can get your dog killed, please do some research as to the dangers if you are thinking of buying one.
Don’t hesitate for a minute to snag this leash. It’s an amazing product. I’ve been waiting to review it on Amazon, and will give it 5 stars. My 53 lb shepherd/bassett hound mix is extremely strong. A heavy duty leash (80+ lb) is the only one I can use. This fits the bill. I’ll be buying another as a back-up.

Glad it works for you, just giving my experience. You shouldn’t just shut people down because nothing has ever happened to you personally though. Fact is 53 lb is relatively small or qualifies as med, in no way a large dog. Can guarantee it doesn’t have the strength our dog has, which we would never use for our 95 lb dog.
Amber- Glad you agree with her but I’ve never seen hip2save staff take a side in the 8 or 9 yrs I’ve been here. So I guess you have an opinion on it but I thought we were all invited to share ours. And yes, that is how your comment came off. I was bit several times by a dog that wasn’t’ under control so yeah, I’m a little wary of this.
